The service was not good. The waiter was very inattentive. He forgot about our appetizer. Even after we complained about it, our main came before the appetizer so we had to cancel it. The food was very good but the portions could be bigger. The music is too loud. It is difficult to keep a conversation.

Mediocre meal. DJ music was extremely loud causing everyone to talk extremely loud to even carry on a conversation with dinner party. So many managers trying to tackle issues

I feel like this place needs to advertise as more upscale. It’s kind of a weird vibe for the price point and the branding to me. Price point, didn’t fit the atmosphere and food type, IMO. The food was good, but it was very overpriced for a Tigard restaurant. I got the prime rib which was really good, it was $43, it came with mashed potatoes. My sister got the pad Thai and that was $30 and sister’s boyfriend got sushi roll that was $22. The setup was kind of strange. They had so many people working it was a bit overwhelming to have that many people walking and standing around everywhere. The women’s bathroom has one hand dryer for 3 stalls and no paper towels, so people were in line to dry their hands. Let’s see, I had my reservation as listed as a special occasion but no mention of it by the server. Lastly, we had a reservation for 3 and the table we were sat at was a very small round bar table that was really meant for 2. We hardly had any elbow room. For the money spent and a special occasion, would have been nice to have a better table. I would go back again and try happy hour, but doubt I would go back for dinner.

This was my first experience at Kona but it won’t be the last. Everyone from the greeters, the waitstaff, and the managers made sure we had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. Great flavors and textures!

I wanted to love Kona Grill but ended up being disappointed. The music was way too loud and felt out of place. The food was mediocre at best. And overpriced. There was a lot of wait staff traffic by our table. Our server was nice though! The restaurant works for a casual happy hour or a homecoming dinner for high school kids. Overall we were disappointed in the experience and won't be back.

The music was so loud inside the dining room we chose to sit outside even though there were no heaters working. Waited a very long time for sushi roll and poke. We will not return due to loud music and disappointing food.

Our server was Christy who was professional, fun, and prompt in getting our dinner to us timely. Her manager, Andrea, was very helpful in making sure my friend’s meal met her dietary needs. We both enjoyed the miso black cod that was incredibly tasty and we paired the meal with Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay that perfectly complimented the fish. Too noisy though and obviously has a vibe for a younger crowd, but will go back again!

Kona Grill is great! Food was amazing & ambiance excellent! The prices are a bit high, however, and music much too loud, but all in all a wonderful experience.

Our server Brittany was awesome. Food was good and very reasonably priced for the area. Music was loud but overall it was a great dinner.
