I was shocked and disappointed that the food and ambiance of this restaurant was so poor. It feels like you are in a cafeteria. Super loud and not luxurious at all. The prices are high for what you get. I order 2 sushi rolls and the tuna was super thin and just above grocery store grade. The spicy Edemame was so spicy that no one at the table could eat it. And the server never bothered to ask us if we liked anything. I suppose from trying to avoid everything being sent back. It’s too bad, because I was really looking forward to a great seafood dinner experience

I had the steak and lobster roll, it was bland with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans had flavor everything else was like cafeteria food. I won’t dine there again. Mediocre food decent service, trendy atmosphere like a Vegas hotel.

Had a great experience. Our server Sean was fantastic. He had good menu knowledge and was very sweet. The food was all great, everyone left full and happy! Went for our anniversary and would definitely go again soon!

We had a great time at Kona Grill in Desert Ridge. Shared lettuce wraps appetizer which was delicious, though the dipping sauce was a little too salty. For entrees we had Pad Thai and a Rainbow roll. Both were very good. The music volume was just about right (on a previous visit it was too loud).

Our server was wonderful Even while being short staffed she maintained perfect service, kept a smile and the mosf positive attitude It made luck with a dear friend even better

Tempura shrimp appetizer was very good and crispy, as we had specified. My salad was also very good and made as I had specified. Friend liked her chicken satay as well. Our server, Shayne, was excellent!

We had a wonderful dinner with sushi, salad steaks and their raspberry cheesecake was to die for. I also loved their electric lemonade it was delicious and perfect way to relax on a Thursday. Highly recommend going there any night of the week.

This was definitely an underwhelming experience. Kona grill charges expensive prices for inferior food ( if they have it in stock). Two people at my party wanted the ribeyes, but we were told that there were no ribeyes, strips or filets. The only steak that was available was waygu cuts. Our dinner time was 5 pm and not to have anything but Waygu is gonna make for a long night. When I asked about the prime rib, I was told there was no prime rib either. Then a minute later, The server informed us that Kona “just got in “ prime rib.” You don’t just get prime rib in. But we ordered it, and it was terrible. It was over seasoned and well done. Also, Pricing is insane. $ 14 for a bowl of miso soup, or edamame is wild. I actually preferred the original KG before the relaunch. I don’t know if the fresh look, and new menu can overcome poor food selection, high prices and average service.
