Great service from Karmin! Food was very good, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the duck empanadas or that the restaurant was out of the Asian salad.

Went there for an early dinner.Restaurant was almost empty.We ordered 2 appetizers.Sliders were good.Somewhat smaller than usual.Came with a small order of fries.Shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps were not good.A lot of oil in the bowl.Butter lettuce was wilted.Service was better.

My rice bowl with salmon was delicious! Our server Tee was exceptional! She was courteous, helpful and a had a delightful personality. We will be back.

This place is so loud you can barely talk to the person at your same table. My chicken skewers were both dried out and rubbery. However, the rice was a delicious side. Mike likes his steak medium rare, but they only serve them medium here. Probably will not be back.

Found out the prime rib was prepared elsewhere and delivered to the store medium so medium rare was not an option. Salmon was overcooked. Watched an employee pick up a menu off the floor and put on a table without cleaning it off. Thinking we won’t be back.

Very disappointed on first visit to Kona Grill. Menu options were fantastic and the restaurant was beautiful and hopping with good energy. Table games were fun. We were there for restaurant week, so ordered off the pre fixe. After we ordered, one of three appetizers were served, and then all of a sudden our main meals were served— they had forgotten the two other apps. The food was mediocre overall, with one entree, salmon, not edible as it was so dry. Asked for a condiment and never received it. They offered us a free dessert as a compensation for forgetting the apps. We accepted, even though we each received a dessert on the pre fixe. They ended up bringing us two pre fixe desserts, and the one free dessert, and had forgotten the third pre fixe dessert.

We went to Kona Grill during AZ Restaurant Week and most of our group took advantage of this special menu offer. The Picasso Roll and Poke Bowl were outstanding! Both were a healthy portion, had nice pieces of fresh fish, and amazing flavor. The Picasso Roll was a little fiery, in a good way, with the jalapeno and sriracha on top. The Cilantro Lime Chicken was tender and was a perfect flavor pairing with the turmeric almond rice and sauce. The Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon was a winner too. The salmon was perfectly cooked, had a great flavor, and also was nicely paired with the carrot and edamame fried rice. The Prime Rib was a healthy portion, and was good not great as it was cooked more than we would like. We were made aware of this during the order process - that the meat was served medium-well - but we decided to give it a try. If you prefer a medium-rare or medium level on your meat, we would pass on the Prime Rib. The Stir Fry dish was excellent, with fresh veggies, jasmine rice, and a sauce with a nice flavor. The Cheesecake and Brownie desserts were decent but not delectable. We prefer a plain cheesecake (no raspberry sauce) with a more robust flavor and a really gooey brownie with a more decadent ice cream or gelato. The Restaurant Week menu was a very good value and we would highly recommend giving it a try. Our server was outstanding! He was attentive but did not rush us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and worked with us to avoid our allergies. The only thing that truly disappointed us, was that we were celebrating a birthday, which was noted on our reservation, but never acknowledged by the host or the server. That aside, we would definitely return, and we look forward to our next visit so we can try more of the menu items.
