Situé dans l'épicentre du quartier dynamique de Brickell à Miami, Komodo est un restaurant et lounge intérieur et extérieur de trois étages qui allie une cuisine contemporaine d'Asie du Sud avec une ambiance typique du sud de la Floride, rehaussant l'expérience culinaire et la vie nocturne du secteur. Le menu propose des mets populaires dont le canard de Pékin, le maki au thon et le maki dynamite au homard. Le restaurant et lounge multi-niveaux de 300 places dispose de plusieurs espaces uniques, y compris trois bars complets avec un menu de cocktails maison. La terrasse extérieure, conçue en « nids d'oiseaux » (des sièges flottants qui recréent un décor ludique rappelant une maison dans un arbre) est parfaite pour toutes les occasions. Komodo est ouvert pour le dîner 7 jours par semaine, pour le dîner du lundi au vendredi et propose la formule Happy Hour tous les soirs de semaine.

    Go often, went for friends birthday. Generally speaking one of the worst services I have experienced in miami in a while. Just not what you would expect for the price..

    I have been to Komodo several times. This time however was disappointing. Despite making a reservation in open table requesting inside seating, we had to wait 1 hour to get seated. The host was rude and did not follow my request, instead offered to sit us outside. She was sitting first other customers that came way later after us. The server was nice but the waiting time to get our food and drinks was unreasonable. We each ordered the cloud 23 steak, which was very spicy with a sauce that completely masked its flavor. The only good part was the dessert. Overall, the food and service were mediocre. I do not recommend the this restaurant for a business meeting or date.

    What was suppose to be a nice dinner with my boyfriend was far from that. We had a reservation at 9pm. We were not seated until 10:17pm. By the time we got to our table we were starving. Our waiter took our drink orders and then food orders then he did not come back to our table until 11:30pm. I saw him running around serving all the tables he had. He seem extremely bombard and busy. My boyfriend and I couldn't order another drink because the waiter never came back. The food and the music was good. The entrance and bar area was extremely packed with people also waiting to be seated. The only good part of the night was the food. However I will not be returning.

    If you’re looking for a hot spot that’s all about the ambiance, Komodo Miami is where it's at. This trendy haven draws crowds like moths to a flame. But be warned: their reception system is nothing short of chaotic, though I suspect it’s all part of a master plan to build anticipation. When you arrive, you're met by a swarm of hopefuls trying to get in. With a reservation (as we had), the staff hunts for your name in the system and then directs you to the bar area—where they promise to find you (eventually). The bar is another crowded mess. It took us an hour, $120 in drinks, and several trips back to the reception to finally get seated. They don’t actually search for you; instead, they parade around with a ticket and wait for someone to question them. We ended up on the terrace, which was a blessing, away from the indoor noise. The food was beautifully presented but just okay in flavor. Granted, as a Peruvian, my standards are pretty high. The service was passable, nothing remarkable. Despite noting my birthday in the reservation, there wasn't so much as a "happy birthday" greeting, let alone any special gesture. Overall, if you’re in your 30s and chasing the latest scene, Komodo is your spot. But if quality is what you're after, Osaka (just to throw a top of mind alternative) is miles ahead.
