Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Komodo Dallas features an ultra-contemporary exterior facade that gives way to an inviting indoor-outdoor flow. The restaurant takes visual cues from its homebase, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows. From there, pops of saturated color are added, such as with the lounge’s eye-catching wallpaper and a dramatic fabric-draped corridor. Komodo Dallas spans two stories and seats up to 274 diners across tabletop, booth and bar seats.

Komodo Dallas’ menu offers delicious takes on Southeast Asian dishes, all of which have been developed and interpreted with a global approach. The result is a unique dining experience, ranging from regularly rotating specials to house favorites such as Salmon Tacos, Miso Chilean Seabass Skewers, Peking Duck, and Daring Plant Based Kung Pao Chicken. A full sushi bar is also included, while bespoke custom cocktails deliver lively and exclusive beverage options.

Went to brunch. Dim sum style buffet, brunch at $72 a piece. Wife got drink package which is $30 unlimited deinks (spicy Paloma or mimosa variant). You get one entree and unlimited small bites like gyoza, dumplings, spare ribs, etc. Comes with one entree too. Sounds like a decent idea. Komodo at brunch sucked bc the service sucked. Wasn’t busy enough to have forgot drinks, food, utensils, etc. My friend and I ordered tequila sodas but received ranch waters. We didnt send them back. My friends gf didnt receive her champagne based drink until 45 min in. Food quality was cool but really like going to a 30-50 dollar buffet. It wasn’t Wynn quality but I paid more than Wynn. My "wagyu" burger was mid.Collectively with the ingredients it was OK, but the burger patty itself was a red flag situation. I'm always skeptical if a burger has predefined grill marks on it. Also, we couldnt box our entrée food to go bc it was apart of the "buffet". I get it but the server shouldve realized how many times he dropped the ball and accommodated something. $200+ on mid is unacceptable. I couldve went to Monarch. My wife said the dinner experience was better. Good to say I’ve gone but wont be back.

Komodo was amazing! We enjoyed the options for Dallas restaurant week. It was a wide variety of options. The drinks, food, and atmosphere were everything. I got the sirloin ,chicken salad, and black pepper steak with eggplants. Alexis, our server, was on point. She gave great suggestions and made our experience even better. I will definitely be back. Please go with your patience and enjoy the ambiance.

Our server Jordan was great, manager was walking around showing great interest in making sure all guests were happy, honestly was nicely surprised.

The venue is awesome, the food is very good, the staff is well trained and attentive. Overall it was a good experience.

Beautiful space, great vibe! Our server, Jared, was very professional, courteous, and attentive. The food was good, but 2 out of 4 of us had hair in different food items from the self-serve brunch bar. That was very disappointing. My entree was super yummy though! I would go back, but I may skip Sunday brunch and just have dinner.

All about the atmosphere here. Service was great but you’re paying for the scene and food quality is poor. Won’t be back.
