Island inspired, music city infused. Kokomo Trading Company is a fusion of delicious chef-created cuisine, extraordinary beverages, and exceptional live music. Familiar and exotic flavors that satisfy and immerse our guests in an atmosphere of warmth, relaxation, adventure and the Spirit of community.

Executive chef and one of three owners, David Morrow, was born and raised on the Emerald island of Ireland. David was recognized early on for his outstanding ability in the Culinary Arts. He was eventually recruited and trained by Irish Celebrity Chef and television personality, Neven Maguire, at the world famous MacNean House. Chef Morrow brings his passion for excellence in food along with years of experience and love for agriculture, farming, producing and sourcing only the finest, nutrient rich products.

The staff was very attentive. The food is made from scratch. Their signature "Roti" is delicious. The presentation is very nice. Kokomo is also known for blended drinks and even has a tasting paddle to try 4 flavors. The live music was a nice touch and the reason why I chose this restaurant. I noticed front and back patio seating, which will be nice in cooler weather. The only negative I can say is the kitchen window is open to the seating area and there is a lingering "cooking smell" so I did have to shower/wash clothes upon returning home. overall I was pleasantly pleased and will return again and again.

A local favorite. Wide variety of flavorful options were available and the servers were attentive, friendly and efficient. Went on Open Mike Night and the music was a very pleasant addition to the evening.

The restaurant is fun with live music, great service and drinks. However the food was not good. The lobster bisque was bland and the garlic bread was cold. My husband’s meal came out long after my soup; it was a cheeseburger and it was made with frozen patties! We will definitely return for drinks & entertainment but we will dine somewhere else beforehand.

We had a great experience! Food was excellent and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Definitely will go back the next time we are in the area!

The manager is very personable and takes time to greet each customer. The food was great and the service was excellent. Will definitely return!

I just love this place. The vibe. The staff. Even the other people eating have always been so welcoming and kind every time I go. This is my favorite place in Franklin.
