Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace. Our 170 seat restaurant & bar conveys a fun, lively and warm environment to enjoy a true Mexican experience - from our open view kitchen allowing guests to witness the art of handcrafted tortilla making to our spectacular display wall showcasing more than 400 mezcales and tequilas.

Great food for the value considering Miami, and our server was EXCELLENT! It was very busy and he did his best to accommodate us. It’s also a very really nice ambiance.

Watery, overpriced drinks, very small portions, nothing that makes you say “Wow!”. Very overrated. Will not be back.

Everthing was great! But specially the service ( provided by Wilson) and the ambience!!! I’d love to come back again soon!!!! This is a nice place for business dinners!

We have been here before and will say the food and service was definitely on point. Jorge our server was knowledgeable about the menu as well as good recommendations. The margaritas we had were also very good. The only disappointment was they ran out of the bread pudding. Overall, very good.

Dining on the outside patio on a rainy day was nice, welcoming service by the hostess and seating next to cactus garden. Great choice of cocktail, for tequila and mezcal lovers there plenty of choices. Menu has traditional Mexican dishes, we had Cacalas Caseras as appetizer, two main dishes; Enchiladas a la Suiza for cheese lovers, and Mole Coloradito of short ribs, both very good. Desserts not on the menu, we choose Bread Pudding with ice cream. Too much food for two. Will return to try more cocktails and small appetizers. Good choice.

Good & service were exceptional as usual. Had my usual drink Sera Sandía Sera Melon & it was outstanding.
