Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace. New neighbors trying this for the first time and happy this is walking distance to our new Coconut Grove condo. It’s definitely going to be on our regular rotation. Best tasting meal I’ve had in a long time, without the hype. My wife and I ordered the short rib tacos and 1lb of chicken. Both dishes were super flavorful. Overall outstanding take on gourmet Mexican cuisine.

Great Mexican food. The service is great drinks are pricy but it has a good vibe. I definitely recommend checking it out it’s worth the visit. The decor inside is beautiful the food is good. Not your typical Mexican food it’s more authentic upscale. Worth trying

Love this place, already been back twice! First time had sharing plate of Taco's skirt steak was great, lot's of food for 2 men! 2nd visit was more business meeting and they gave us space and didn't rush us to order, yummy margarita's! Ok so not too much business :) had Ceviche which was light and yummy for a lunch portion. They make their own blue corn chips and tortilla's I prefer the soft one and they have no problem keeping you with enough, find the chips a bit bland though so ask for both if you want. Great staff and manager very interactive even cleaning empty plates etc., make sure to Churros for desert, they are to die for! 2nd visit they didn't have and I had told my guests how wonderful but we settled for bread pudding was good but not as good as Churro's!! Will be back for sure!!!
