Dessert Bar - The journey of KOI commenced long before Reynold Poernomo was inducted into Masterchef’s dessert hall of fame. In fact, it began in our family garage in 2012, where our Mother, Ike Malada, started operations with only $300, to support the family.

    KOI’s annual Spring High Tea has arrived! An annual appreciation of Spring. Indulge in elegant flavours harmonise with vibrant colors, all inspired by the serenity of the Japanese garden. FINE PRINT: Minimum 2 people per high tea set. Please provide 48-hour notice for any dietary requirements. Due to the nature of the menu and ingredients used, we do not offer vegan and/or dairy-free menu. Bookings are highly recommended. High Tea time allocation is 1.5 hours per seating. Booking time is between 12pm to 4pm (last seating). Cancellation policy: 72 hours notification is required, in the case booking is cancelled less than 72 hours $95/person cancellation fee applies.

                      I’d recommend for future high teas that one finger sandwich / one more savoury be included to balance the sweet. Also check in if more tea is required… The customer service was purely transactional with no warmth or friendliness. There was no emphasis on the “customer” and creating a memorable Mother’s Day experience… just sit, eat then pay. No greeting, no checking in, no goodbye. It’s definitely a missed opportunity to build loyal and repeat business.

                      very lovely delicate menu design, everything works fine. my mum was impressed with all the high tea desserts i am happy with the balance of sweetness, coz 2 years ago i think it was lacking sweet in lunar new year menu and am glad that this situation has improved, well done!

                      It was absolutely wonderful the amount of effort that goes in to every dessert shows. The presentation, the flavours the textures everything was perfect. It's truly a wonderful experience and my mother loved it as well. Its well worth the money as and more. I understand the cost and effort , time and patience it takes to create desserts at home and can only imagine how much it takes to create them on this level. It's desserts and experiences like this that make life special. Thank you

                      Really enjoyable High Tea. Each delicacy was a joy to experience and a perfect size. Would recommend.

                      Pros: Beautiful decor, beautifully presented. Customer service was really good, polite staff and attentive when called. No complaints. Cons: Extremely close proximity to others, there was a group on our right that were extremely noisy and very much ruined the experience and was the main reason for dissatisfaction. Customer service was good, served straight away although was given the wrong tea due to mishearing because the group was so loud. Desserts presentation was beautiful, the citrus flavours were great however the matcha desserts fell in terms of flavour, was too sweet and there was not much coming through. Sasuage roll was actually the best despite this being a sweets place. Seating in such close proximity, also understanding the small space due to the shop size, made it quite uncomfortable and felt on edge a little. Not much you can do however.

                      The high tea was delicious and the best we’ve had. Could improve on the seating though. While I loved being near the kitchen to watch.. being seated on high metal tables & high chairs are not conducive to high tea where you want to relax.
