The best part of our stay is visiting Sara in the bar. We LOVE LOVE LOVE her hospitality and kindness! Another great stay!!

What a pleasurable evening! First of all randomly stumbling upon Sara, who owned Santa Fe’s top restaurants, Coyote Cafe & Geronimo was such a treat! We are in town dealing with two deaths, so running into her here was a treat. The bartenders at this hotel are the best! Kelly was also just the sweetest person on earth! The food is so surprising as well! Who would think hotel food would be so great! Seriously the best brisket burger ever! my only gripe is that there could be a better selection of bubbly! Other than that, y’all have nailed what it takes to be a spot on classic establishment. The service could not have been more stellar!

My husband and I had dinner here this evening and our experience was nothing short of delightful. From start to finish the service was great. I started with a white Negroni cocktail, which was perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we ordered the Chimichurri fries- delicious. My salad was fresh and crisp, and my husband described his salmon as “perfect”. The setting was beautiful and offered and lovely, peaceful view. The hotel that houses the restaurant has a grand yet welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food, beautiful scenery, and top-notch hospitality, this is certainly worth a visit. We’ll be back!

Great place for a lunch meeting!! We had the nachos, BLTE sandwich, and delicious Knotty Tacos. YUM!! The food was so good, and the service was amazing! Pro tip: ask Ralph for his famous Cuban espresso!

This is a great spot for a cocktail, bite to eat or to just grab a beer. Ram and Kelly are great bartenders, and the rest of the staff is very friendly and professional. Smash burger is one of my favorites.

Beautiful balcony with misting fans to stay cool. Service was great. The manager even came by to check on everything. Decent prices for a hotel restaurant. 4 of us shared the brisket nachos and were so full that we could hardly eat our main course. The fish tacos were a bit dried out. This hotel is beautiful and the restaurant added to the enjoyment our stay!

I have been enjoying the Knotty Bar for many years through events or just to enjoy a glass of wine with friends. I know I can always count on great service and a fun time.y favorites are the red wines, wings and tacos!

Such a great meal in an open ambience. Great place for wonderful lunch conversations. The food was delicious, especially the brisket Mac n cheese which was to die for! Nachos were wonderful and the staff was so helpful and attentive. The bar staff was incredible, led by Kelly, who made us a magical margarita. Definitely wonderful place on site if you are visiting the hotel or an excellent choice inside or outside for a business lunch or for families at the pool to take a break.

The Knotty Deck Bar at the Renaissance Hotel is my new favorite place to happy hour in Austin! The deck sits on the back of the hotel grounds above the surrounding tree tops with Hill Country views. We loved the fresh deck decor and especially the firepit table as it provided a cozy vibe for the evening. Cocktails were tasty and we enjoyed sharing the Brisket Tacos made with the most tender and delicious brisket, topped with loads of pico de gallo, cheese and a huge dollop of fresh guacamole! Major yum! Definitely will go back soon!

I love The Knotty Deck & Bar!! The best brisket nachos and brisket tacos in town HANDS DOWN. 🌮 Award-winning Mac-N-Cheese was sooo delicious, as well. Incredible service and beautiful outdoor patio! Perfect for a date or girls night!!
