I wasn’t impressed by the menu descriptions. Our server really sold us on our small plates and we were very surprised at the quality and flavors of the food. Have this server write your menu descriptions!!!! The drinks were fantastic. We arrived as the band was setting up. The band played 2-3 songs and then took about a 30 minute break and returned to the stage as we were finishing up. They were good, but knowing how little of our time was with their music, I didn’t feel the cover fee was a value. The decor and feel of the space was lovely. We made a reservation about 45 minutes prior to our arrival and our seating experience was NOT smooth. For how sophisticated the place appeared, neighborhood and prestige of being the location of the late Lark, and the overall cost of our 4 drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, and the entertainment fee we spent nearly $200. Reservations were hand written on a notepad and our name was not on it. They sat us and then came back to verify who we were. There should be a tablet at the door and we should be greeted warmly, not side eyed and looked at suspiciously as we were. There were many details of the experience that could have been simply elevated to make it feel like $200 was worth it. Waitstaff were in all black, but mostly in athletic wear. Beer served in bottles. We were sat by the windows and nearly behind the bar with stuff piled behind my chair. Many of the band members were wearing tshirts and one had a towel on his head under his hat. Again if I’m paying a cover fee, put in some effort in your appearance. I wanted to LOVE this experience. We probably won’t be back and I probably wouldn’t recommend others to experience the speakeasy because of the cost and other points listed above.

Beautiful spacw with overpriced small plates. Live music was great, and service wasn't bad. Not likely to return, as it's far from where we live and wasn't worth the drive. $5 can pop, and Louisiana pasta was what I had. The husband had catfish fingers and truffle fries, and they were undercooked. We had lemon pepper and buffalo wings, and Buffalo was better. I'll pay for anything as long as it is worth it and tastes good. However, paying $106 vs. $101 since we paid with a card... We came, we saw, and won't be returning.

Loved the atmosphere, food, and live music. This was my first visit to Knock Knock and I will definitely be back!! Wonderful experience!

We walked in for our reservation and proceeded to wait to be greeted or acknowledged for about 10 minutes. A woman eventually greeted us, asked about our reservation and went directly to the bar, where there were two other bartenders. She made some drinks and continued serving other patrons. There were numerous tables which hadn’t been cleared off from the previous guests. Dirty plates, cups etc. The woman never came back to seat us. We ended up leaving without being seated or served.

Music was good and DJ lively!. Service was slow, VERY SLOW. Drink had to be made twice and still was not good. Food portions were good but very salty. Price was fair. May give them another try on the patio but no time soon, sadly.

The live band is over at 10:00 p.m. that’s what we went for. Without the live band, it’s mid. Drinks and food are a little over priced in my opinion.

The live music experience was excellent I would return for this for sure. The food was meh. We arrived for 7pm and right away we were told they were sold out of chicken egg rolls for the night. We ordered the pasta dish which was unremarkable. The bathroom needed to be cleaned which the other person in my party mentioned to the manager. Additionally for advertising as a speakeasy the drink selection and taste should be amazing. Lastly if you pay in cash you will have a different total than if you pay with card. Card transaction fees are a part of the cost of doing business. Factor all costs when determining pricing. This was quite a turnoff it felt like a gas station experience. If you want to attract patrons that return adjustments are needed. I would recommend but with caveats.
