Knife & Spoon is the signature steak and seafood restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes led by Chef Tyler Kineman. The restaurant was awarded a coveted MICHELIN Star in the 2022 & 2023 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Florida.

Resort Casual: Please refrain from wearing athletic apparel and swim attire or cover ups in the main dining room.

Corkage policy: Guests are invited to bring in up to two 750ml bottles with a $50 corkage fee per bottle. The wines cannot be featured on our wine list.

Knife & Spoon is conceived by Chef John Tesar who was called "the single most talented cook I ever worked with" by Anthony Bourdain. Tesar came up as a chef in New York City at 13 Barrow St, Vine, and the Supper Club. He then went on to open two restaurants in Dallas that have been named among the best in the country by Bon Appetit, Eater and Esquire. He has garnered praise from Food and Wine, and The New York Times and is a two-time contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef."

The ambience is perfect, the service is impeccable. One dish was not to our liking (they made every effort to please us), another item was no longer available, although it was on the menu and website menu. The staff made up for our disappointment and made it a night to remember. This was our tenth anniversary celebration and we have a great story for the rest of our life. Jenn our sommelier was a fantastic tour guide of the menu and ensured we were happy. Kudos to the entire staff!

Amazing menu, amazing wine list, and amazing staff! Thank you for making our girl’s weekend dinner so perfect. Worth every penny! I hope you guys get your second star!

The service started out top notch, but after we got our meal, it was as if we were forgotten. My husband asked for more bread with his meal and it never arrived. Our water glasses were empty and we bought a bottle of wine and no one came to refill our glasses. The bottle was in a wine holder behind my chair, so I needed to get out of my seat and get the bottle. Not what I expect at this type of restaurant. But the food was amazing!

The food was outstanding and flavor profiles exquisite. The drinks were also creative and beautifully crafted with blends of flavors that had me ordering more than I should have. My wife ordered the fresh caught pompano that came with a butter crème sauce that was to die for. I went simple, and ordered the 10 oz filet medium rare and it came out perfectly done. It was tender and delicious. A side of roasted vegetables did not disappoint either. We started at the bar and ended up ordering dinner there even though we had reservations in the main dining room. Service was impeccable and very friendly. The restaurant itself was beautifully appointed with furnishings that had flares of old and new entangled together. It had a wonderful ambience. It came with a Michelin price tag, however. I think it was deserving of its star, but the final bill was probably twice what other great restaurants may have offered. Between being a Michelin star restaurant and residing in a Ritz Carlton, my wallet didn’t have a chance. It was my birthday and worth the bucket list Michelin star dinner. Now I can say I did it. Outstanding food and deserving of its star rating.

Maybe sign of the times but I would not expect a Michelin-star restaurant to allow shorts and flip flops!!! (I wore a blazer). Noise level was insane. Food and service were excellent but I probably will not repeat because of shabbily dressed customers and the incredibly loud noise level. A bit disappointing due to the latter two factors.

We went for our 44th anniversary. By far the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Exceptional service. The food was prepared perfectly. They work as a team and provided exceptional service. Highly recommend!!

Although busy for the Labor Day holiday, the service and the food were both excellent. We each had the grouper and it was fantastic. Paired nicely with onion rings and a wine that Jennifer selected…she is always spot on. The heirloom tomato and burratta salad is a favorite. Tony and his team took great care of us. All the team is attentive and so nice. The food is so good !

My wife and I had a great experience at Knife & Spoon. The wagyu filet was made to perfection, the scallops were delicious, and the Hamachi was very good. We can't forget about the drinks. The bartenders know how to make good drinks. Thank you to the staff who made my wife, and I experience memorable. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday.

Kain lead a team of servers that were exceptional. The attention to detail and intentionality was second to no other place. The food was excellent as well.
