Knife & Spoon is the signature steak and seafood restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes led by Chef Tyler Kineman. The restaurant was awarded a coveted MICHELIN Star in the 2022 & 2023 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Florida.

Resort Casual: Please refrain from wearing athletic apparel and swim attire or cover ups in the main dining room.

Corkage policy: Guests are invited to bring in up to two 750ml bottles with a $50 corkage fee per bottle. The wines cannot be featured on our wine list.

Knife & Spoon is conceived by Chef John Tesar who was called "the single most talented cook I ever worked with" by Anthony Bourdain. Tesar came up as a chef in New York City at 13 Barrow St, Vine, and the Supper Club. He then went on to open two restaurants in Dallas that have been named among the best in the country by Bon Appetit, Eater and Esquire. He has garnered praise from Food and Wine, and The New York Times and is a two-time contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef."

Honestly I was very disappointed when we went there. Could not understand any of the servers cause they spoke in such a low whisper and seems pushy, like if we were still picking at our plates one of the runners would just come up and grab the plate and knife and spoon out of our hands. The food, honestly, for the price, was meh, especially when compared to other Michelin Star restaurants I have eaten at in Orlando. My steak, while inside was perfect, the outside was over seared and you could taste the gas. Also, although I couldn’t prove it, as someone who has had Waygu Beef before, what they gave me didn’t taste or look anything like Waygu Beef. The only highlight I will say was the server did bring out a little cake to celebrate my birthday which is why we were there in the first place. Overall would I give it another try…probably, but it’s gonna be a minute.

Great service, beautiful restaurant. Was a bit disappointed with the dry aged strip steak. Everything else was fantastic. Everyone was so nice.

The experience is super beautiful. The service is excellent. The food is out of this world I had my reservation I went in and I got seated right away. I didn’t have to wait.got seated right away.

In our opinion, it was a typical resort steakhouse experience. Uni cacio e pepe was bland, steak was tough. Great service, just not really worth the price tag!

The atmosphere was not as elegant as expected for a highly rated venue. The noise level was so loud we had to ask the staff to constantly repeat themselves. We ordered two appetizers and a salad and they brought them all out together. All three were mediocre at best. From the time they cleared our plates and the entrees appeared over 35 minutes elapsed. The entrees were lukewarm and the sauces did not pair well. They removed our wine bottle before it was empty and brought a complementary desert that we did not order. We did not have any of the desert and had to wait for the bill to arrive. The meal was just short of $500 with the tip and in our opinions it was not worth half that. The dress code was listed as resort casual and the two tables next to us had one gentleman in a t-shirt and sweat pants wearing a baseball cap and the other table had one wearing cut off shorts and a t-shirt. We understood this restaurant in recent years had a Michelin Star rating but had lost it in 2024. We now know why.
