Welcome to Knead, our sustainable pizzeria based in the heart of Maidenhead. Brought to you by husband and wife team Simon & Olivia Perry, become part of the Knead fam and let our staff sling out the very best ‘zas and spritz around. A fan of spice? Sergeant Scoville has you covered with fiery British ‘Nduja, fresh chillies and a drizzle of hot honey. A classicist? Fear not, Princess Margherita is pizza royalty on our menu.

Our lively pizzeria is modest, modern and wonderful, seating 50 comfortably inside and with a relaxed outdoor area for you to enjoy the evening sun with an aperitivo and a slice in hand. Expect banging pizzas, fresh small plates, local beers and a carefully curated cocktail menu.

We’re a short walk from the train station and with Paddington less than 25 minutes away and Maidenhead being served by the new Elizabeth Line, London is on our doorstep. If you’re visiting from the capital, why not make a day of it and visit nearby Boulders Lock, Bray or Cliveden House?

Food fine and 2 of the 3 servers were wonderful. 1 clearly thought that waiting tables was beneath her, suspect parents forced her to for personal growth but hell...we were all entitled stroppy teenagers once hey ;)

First things first, the pizzas here are just fantastic. Fresh ingredients making amazing pizza. We had 4 different pizza's between us at the table and each of them was perfect. Tailored to our needs, so able to remove olive's or add a sauce etc. Cocktails were fab and the beer selection decent enough :-) Highlight was the kitchen making us an off menu Nutella Pizza for dessert. Really accommodating and very very nice :-) Can't wait to go back!

Great sour dough pizza! Been a couple of times and have a few times found the ventilation to be poor with the result that the restaurant becomes a bit smokey and unpleasant. The style of the pizza is authentic Italian but even so I find the toppings to be a little too sparse. Still, really delicious and always have lovely friendly service.

The pizza was delicious and my friend really enjoyed her GF pizza. I wouldn't mind a little more n'duja on the Hello Gourdeous pizza. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Wednesday night - which is great! The local car park is so expensive - is there any option to get a reduced rate when you are in the area to go to Knead? We would definitely visit again. We've already visited around 5x and we used to go to the local pop up too :)

Service v friendly and pizza excellent. Bit of a wait for food on a Friday night but to be expected. Noise levels got quite loud as the restaurant got busier…maybe needs some soft furnishings to quieten it down. Would definitely go back, really good food and friendly staff :)
