Located in the heart of Deansgate Square.....

Taking centre stage in the venue, the sushi chefs will serve up an exquisite raw menu featuring a selection of freshly made dishes including black and blue tuna with pickled kohlrabi and squid ink tuille, horse mackerel ceviche and Wagyu beef tataki with crispy shallots.

Traditionally cooked over open flames, the Robata menu includes the finest cuts of Wagyu with king oyster mushrooms, barbary duck breast and mirin chicken yakitori. Those who favour seafood can enjoy a whole sea bass served with red miso and sake, monkfish with clementine. Kentucky fried calamari with matcha aioli and vegetable yasai top of the tempura offering.

*please note there is a cake charge of £20 for celebration cakes brought into the venue.

Loved it Food is always good, went in early so it was quiet Hope it starts opening earlier again so we can visit for lunch!

Was amazing and all the staff were brilliant and lovely especially jacira. Amazing energy in the building , we will be back !

Kitten has had me purring for more. What an experience of the most delightful tasting food. Unusual too! Will definitely call again soon and meanwhile praise the restaurant and it's surroundings to whoever asks my opinion. A 5* well deserved.

The service and ambience in Kitten is great. Overall we enjoyed our food, however we didn't think the standard was as good as earlier in the year. The tuna sushi tasted really unpleasant (like it was off), however the waitress was lovely and it was taken off the bill.

Such flavoursome food served here. The roasted edamame beans were very different and I particularly liked the chilli glazed scallops. My husband ordered korean pork belly and was equally impressed.

We went for the 50% off deal on a Thursday which was great value for money! The food was amazing. Unfortunately the service was a let down, they were slow when taking our order and payment as well as not bringing a drink which was ordered.
