Located in the heart of Deansgate Square.....

Taking centre stage in the venue, the sushi chefs will serve up an exquisite raw menu featuring a selection of freshly made dishes including black and blue tuna with pickled kohlrabi and squid ink tuille, horse mackerel ceviche and Wagyu beef tataki with crispy shallots.

Traditionally cooked over open flames, the Robata menu includes the finest cuts of Wagyu with king oyster mushrooms, barbary duck breast and mirin chicken yakitori. Those who favour seafood can enjoy a whole sea bass served with red miso and sake, monkfish with clementine. Kentucky fried calamari with matcha aioli and vegetable yasai top of the tempura offering.

Food was amazing, drinks were amazing. Servers and hostess who greeted us were extremely friendly and welcoming. It is expensive but the food quality is worth it I feel

Environment and atmosphere was beautiful Good was delicious Presentation of food was perfect Staff was friendly Bonus 50% off offer when we visited which value for money was better and we could try more dishes 100% highly recommend

Cannot recommend Kitten enough. I’ve tried many restaurant in Manchester and I don’t think any have ever blown me away like Kitten have. Would especially recommend the Pulled Pork Hashbrowns and the crème brûlée. The restaurant its self is also beautiful and a huge thank you to the staff for being so kind and accommodating, especially the manger Jacira, our host Liv and our waiter Hamid- thank you! I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll hurry back!

I live in Deabsgate square and I am Kitten's most frequent customer. When I went there on June 20, I was sitting in the Cocktail bar section. I ordered sushi and said that the starters should come first and then bring the sushi as the main course. Then I ordered my cocktail and water at the bar, a new waiter came and said why didn't you order me? Why should I? The service is so bad. I waited there for half an hour to order drinks. While we were waiting for the starter, the sushi arrived and then they brought the starter, so there was a chaotic order. There is neither a decent service nor a decent service. The waiters behave very unpleasantly towards the customers, the new waiters have not received any training on how to treat the customers. The food was much worse than before. So in conclusion, this was the last time I went and I won't go again.

We went on a Thursday when they had the 50% off deal and had the most amazing evening. it was for a birthday and they wouldn’t let us bring in the cake without paying £20 so we didn’t bother which was a bit disappointing but for the rest of the evening we had the best time

Had the octopussy, duck gyoza, pulled pork hash browns and spider+dragon uramaki. Really good experience. The server kept taking out nearly finished drinks before they were done, other than that 10/10

the drinks (especially the lychee+sake martini) where incredible! the food was outstanding and i loved how some dishes arrived and different times creating a really dynamic dining experience. the salmon sashimi was absolutely top tier, so fresh and delicious. i’ve forgotten our servers name but she had curly hair and gorgeous jewellery, her attention to detail and menu knowledge was incredible. kitten gave me the best birthday meal imaginable and i can’t wait to return!
