The noise was loud only because we were sat next to a loud table of 7. Ideally I should have asked to move which I’m sure would have been accommodated. I’d eat here again.

Great food and service, as always! We both had the fish finger sandwich - which was amazing! Big portion of battered haddock goujons in lovely toasted bread, served with rosemary salted fries. This is no ordinary pub sandwich! Will definitely be going back - think I need to try the BLT next!

Another wonderful experience at The Kite. The Sunday lunch was one of the best I've had in Hitchin, if not the best. Everything cooked beautifully and service just right. We all left feeling totally looked after, having had incredibly tasty food throughout. 3 generations and all impressed and wowed. As ever, we will be back. Thank you.

Very expensive for the quality of food. Didn't stand out for being special. Some interesting menu items but at the price charged we wouldn't return to this venue

Exceptional sunday roast with my family. I had the chicken chimmiturri. Absolutely delicious. Plenty of veggies. Crispy roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese served in separate dishes on a board. Well presented. Waiting staff attentive, friendly and efficient. This is my second visit an absolute gem. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

My second visit which did not disappoint. Sunday lunch was excellent with my chicken breast being so moist and tender, vegetables cooked to perfection and sticky toffee pudding …. Delicious!

Had Sunday lunch which was excellent with attentive friendly service as experienced on previous visits dining in the restaurant . The cauliflower cheese always a favourite of ours and the lemon tart with blueberry sorbet was delicious.

This place is always a hit! Can never fault the food, service or atmosphere of the pub. Incredibly flavourful and prompt service. Jess and Alfie were very helpful and good. Always recommend to everyone, favourite spot in Hitchin.

We had a wonderful anniversary celebration. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Always an absolute treat. Thank you so much!
