Very nice Sunday lunch. Excellent roast beef with exceptional cauliflower cheese and toasties. Not so keen on the horseradish sauce - a bit to creamy for my taste. Chocolate mousse was also top notch.

Sunday lunch for 5. Really exceptional quality beef. Pink and tender. Excellent attention to detail. Great roasties that tasted fresh out of the oven and very cheesy cauliflower cheese. I never go out for a roast because one or more elements are often terrible but we had guests who wanted one. Yes it’s more expensive than many places but it is seriously great.

Food and service was excellent. 2 hour window would be a struggle if you had 3 courses

They really spoiled us. It was my daughter’s birthday and they made her a cocktail and petit fours as a free surprise. Food was great apart from the meat, which was quite bland (we had 3 different types of roast, all said the same thing). Wine was excellent.

Menu was different and intriguing. Some dishes I had never seen before and nice combinations. My son is a chef and likes eating here, so we came for this birthday meal. Alfie served us and was exceptional.

We had Sunday roast but were disappointed with the meat and potatoes, both being tough and dry. The rest of the veg was nice but not enough to make up for the poor quality meat. At £145 for 4, I couldn't recommend this restaurant for Sunday lunch. 6.5/10

We're sorry to hear that our roast was not up to its usual standard - we make sure our team do check-backs with each course, and are always more than happy to remake/replace any dish if any issues do come up at this point. The porchetta Sunday roast was a disappointment - I suppose I usually get chicken and perhaps porchetta just isn’t to my taste but it was so fatty and tough and the Yorkshire pudding was cold. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. The restaurant is highly recommended by others so you should still give it a try - perhaps avoiding the Sunday roast tho!

We do hope this experience hasn't deterred you from visiting again, as we'd love for you to try our wild garlic stuffed cornfed chicken roast!

All the food was decent apart from the fish and chips. Fish was 70% batter! The rump steak was good but pricey at £34 for basic rump cut

Absolutely delicious food! We had three courses each and each dish was filled with amazing flavours and tasted great. Highly recommend.
