    Made a reservation to dine here during their websites posted hours. We ubered across town just to find that the location was closed! Only an establishment with Horrible management would allow such an egregious mistake. Very frustrating and a waste of money!

    Kitchen Savages delivered on ambiance and attentive service for Sunday brunch. The crab eggrolls and uh-so-tender lamb chops were on point! Expectations were high for the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken wings, grits, mac & cheese, and penne pasta (Ultimate Seafood), which were presented well, but all fell short on taste, texture, or both. Even the collards were weird (sweet), and lacked a bit of salt, and the carafe of strawberry mimosa tasted like a classic. Still, I highly recommend this well-designed and inviting establishhment .

    The customer service was impeccable. The food is quite good as well. I had the wings and the salmon. Both were delicious.

    This was the second time my friend and I attempted to dine at this restaurant and yet again it was closed. The first time we received an email after I left a bad review apologizing that they had a private event and offering us a bottle of wine for our troubles if we chose to try them again and to just let them know. I didn’t want wine and decided a few months later, let me try them again and the same thing happened. They were closed and there was no sign on the door or no call from the restaurant. We verified that we were coming via the Open Table check in 24 hours in advance and we never got anything from the restaurant, but they were closed again. We will no longer attempt to dine at this restaurant due to the lack of customer service on the part of the restaurant and their operating hours being incorrectly listed.

    Visited for Juneteenth. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and seated immediately. The food was delicious! We'll definitely be back soon.

    After spending 300+ dollars with a desire to patronage a black owned business once again the mark was missed. The shrimp abd grits lacked flavor and the restaurant did not have any cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper. The drinks took a very long time when it was early and not many people in the restaurant. Ourpee server seemed uninterested and not very personable two things that are required if one is in the service industry. I speak as one who has worked in every position in a restaurant up to being a General Manager. As we were wrapping up we felt rushed while ordering out Uber. Also couple of times a member in my party as well as me was still eating when the server tried to take our plates. The silver lining at the end was a different server who took our picture who was clearly leaning in to providing outstanding service. Overall I am disappointed and will not return. Perhaps my expectations are too high...I do not think so thus I end where I began, the mark was missed.
