Located on Baker Street in the heart of Marylebone Village, Kitchen at Holmes is an all-day restaurant, neighbourhood bar, and destination for lovers of good food.

We have two very special terraces, from our heated and covered terrace on Baker Street to our Secret Roof Terrace nestled amongst the rooftops of Marylebone.

Dishes are aged, smoked and grilled straight from the open kitchen, with Head Chef, Stefano Motta, using the finest ingredients to harmonise global flavours inspired by his travels…

We had an excellent lunch at a comfortable table overlooking the bustling kitchen. The restaurant was modern and airy and the menu was varied and interesting, with many sharing dishes that the four of us took full advantage of. We enjoyed every minute and will certainly return in the future.

Lovely decor and ambience, very conveniently located near Baker Street station. Staff very attentive. Food was lovely, some items very expensive others relatively good value. We chose wisely. They didn’t have our choice of wine so we had to opt for a £20 more expensive bottle (which wasn’t offered for the same price as our first choice) but we enjoyed our meal and even stayed for cocktails afterwards. I would recommend.

We sat at an outside table in the afternoon sun. Excellent haddock and a good chardonnay, recommended by the wine waiter since his stock of white wine was low, proved delicious. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Such a strange experience. The food was OK but watch out for the menu being really quite different to the one online. The staff were lovely except for a quite bizarre encounter with the head waiter. It was a hot day and we don’t eat much meat so we chose the main course salads to follow our starters. His response was “would you like a nice steak with that?” When we said No he suggested “a whole sea bass”. I’ve heard of upselling but… In the end he sneared “just salads then” as if we were committing a crime. The (white) wine was warm. The room is fairly dark with zero natural light. All rather odd and we wouldn’t return.

Excellent food at a surprisingly reasonable price. Good range of options - meat, fish, salad, pasta etc from a variety of countries - Italian, Greek, Middle East etc. Excellent service as well. Well worth a visit.

Food and drinks were delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. My daughter and I had a lovely dinner and lovely conversation. Perfect
