Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Washington DC, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

Parties of 9+ call: 312-513-3606 between the hours of 8am to 7pm.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

My friends and I had a really nice time here. The music was amazing! The service by our waitress Ayanna was superb. The food was hit or miss unfortunately. The catfish nuggets were really good as well as the fried okra but I had the chicken fried chicken and it was really fatty. Several of my friends had the mac and cheese and no one finished and said that you start. It could have been a lot better. Only one of the six of us loved her meal and she had the pecan chicken and waffles which I tasted and it was delicious! The drinks were really good as well. In all, the vibe was great but the food could've been better

My date night was over all great!!!! Our server was Max, he was amazing. He gave honest food options and knew the menu well. Food came out fast and was good. A little on the high side of the dollar but a great place so I didn't mind.

The food was outstanding, loved our server, music was just enough to level set a vibe. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t squawk about the price of the regular drinks. After dinner, went downstairs for a drink that surprisingly was the cost of an entree, and it wasn’t even well made. Also, what’s up with the no beer? That’s strange. This was my 2nd time at K&K and I would certainly return and recommend with a disclaimer to beware the price of the drinks.

I traveled from Philadelphia to visit this restaurant and was really pleased! From the moment you entered the restaurant, there was a doorman who held the door while saying “welcome home” I really loved that! The food and drinks were great! I do feel that everything is a bit pricey for the type of food offered, but the portions were a great size and everything tasted great. Service was ok. I believe our waitress said her name was Mercedes. As a previous waitress/bartender, I feel that she could have been a lot more friendlier or at least seemed happy to provide service at a restaurant of that scale. Her approach throughout the time she served us was very lackluster. However, she did come and check on us periodically and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Lastly, we had a party of 5. The table they sat us at would typically seat 4 and they just put a chair at the end for the 5th guest. Given that all sides are a la cart, we found ourselves with minimum room for all of our food and drinks. I recommend larger seating options or sitting guests at a table that accommodates their size. Otherwise, everything was amazing and I’d recommend everyone to go try out this place.

One of the best meals we have had since moving up North! Every dish was packed with flavor and the drinks were amazing! We will be back!

The customer service of the waitress was excellent! The organization of the restaurant was poor! Set time limits for dinning so that your reservations do not have to wait.

Absolutely horrible trying to get a table. Even with reservations, still had to wait an hour for a table. No apology, accommodations given or anything. Food wasn’t bad but doesn’t make up for the long wait.

I was very disappointed with my New Year’s Eve experience at Kitchen & Kocktails. I had a 9:15 PM reservation but wasn’t seated until 10:15 PM. To make matters worse, it took another 10 minutes before a server even came to offer us water. The entire atmosphere was chaotic, with a circus theme that included dancers and videographers creating unnecessary commotion. Unfortunately, the chaotic environment matched the type of service I received disorganized and subpar. This was not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Kitchen & Kocktails, as I’ve dined here before and had much better experiences. I hope this was just a one off mishap, but it left a bad impression for such a special occasion.

We were seated in the basement, nightclub section for dinner. The noise level was fine. The waitresses were nice, not extremely attentive and forgot us a few times, but still nice. The food was overall good, but absolutely not worth the price. I got the shrimp and grits, flavor was fine, the grits were under seasoned, but the shrimp still had the tails still on. For $33, I shouldn’t have to pick the tails off my shrimp. Cocktails were also fine, but WAY overpriced, they also don’t offer any beer (drafts or bottles). The ambiance was nice, but I wouldn’t return there for dinner.
