Created to deliver the best in comfort food, drinks and vibes to America, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic soul food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist. In addition, Kitchen + Kocktails will feature oxtails, greens, black eyed peas, and candied yams to go with desserts such as peach cobbler, chocolate cake and banana pudding.

We were seated for 30 minutes, asked two different people to get us our server, and no one ever came. We walked out. Very disappointing!!

Our server was amazing definitely an asset to the restaurant. My subpar rating is do to the food. Just didn’t meet expectations. In particular the prime rib. Tasted like a roast prepared a day before.

Great food and service! I recommend the jerk lamb chops. Management really takes care of you and aims to satisfy! I highly recommend Kitchen & Kocktails!

I will start by stating that the food was excellent. The service was very slow, however it was not because of our waitress. She had too many table to service at one time. They need to hire more waitstaff. The music was way too loud. I found myself yelling to have a simple conversation. The food was overpriced, especially sue to the mandatory 20% gratuity charge. Our bill was approximately $250 for two entrees, one appetizer, and two drinks. $200 is a bit much for two meals when the service and music are not at the correct level. Providing a $40 tip regardless of the service doesn't sit right with me. I probably won't return. I will just order my food to go.

Food was good very small portions very small space people kept having to touch passing by not a long wait bathroom toilets n overall smell should be better waiter barely saw us meat portion was very small gratuity should b 5% not 20 to a check of 2 people that’s crazy patron drink was nice don’t have to come back

I am to spend my birthday there & it didn’t feel like a birthday at all. Waitress didn’t even check on use throughout the night . Service just didn’t please me. I gave instructions & stuff came back with the wrong things . Not way i expected it to be!

2nd time here. The food doesn't disappoint. I appreciate seating that allows room to eat and not be on top of the next party. I'll definitely go back again.

The food was absolutely amazing. The music was good. The owner came and checked on us made sure everything was ok. I will definitely be back any time I’m in Chicago lol

The food and drinks were amazing. Service on the other hand was not the best. I think they should not have one server cover so many tables. It took 10 minutes after we sat down for the server to acknowledge us. Once we ordered the food came out very quickly which was perfect. However we finished eating and it was 40 min before she came and checked on us when we were ready for the bill. So if you are okay with mediocre service but enjoy good food. I recommend this place.
