Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Chicago, IL, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

Everything was amazing. The salmon bites were seasoned to perfection. I had the pork chop plate and my daughter had the shrimp and grits. They were both delicious and more than enough. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was perfect. We were also offered pictures for a price but it’s my daughter’s birthday trip, so why not?! We would definitely return.

Service and ambience was amazing! Jordan was a great server! The chef ended up personally bringing out fries for someone in our party because he had noticed that the fries we were originally sent were over-seasoned. This was a very nice touch and greatly appreciated!

While the quality of the food at Kitchen and Kocktails was fantastic, the service left much to be desired. We had made a reservation and were on time for the reservation, yet were still first seated at the bar to wait twenty minutes for our table. When we were eventually seated, it was at the table next to our bar table, and not in the restaurant area, with no place settings present at the table. We ordered appetizers, which were brought out without plates or silverware. When we asked for these things, only two sets of silverware were brought out despite us having a party of 3. Throughout the dinner, we were constantly reminded of the 90 minute limit for dining, which made us feel rushed and a difficult standard to meet given the wait times and inability to eat our food without silverware. Finally, despite the subpar service, a 20% gratuity was automatically included with the check, which felt excessive given the service level we experienced. We will not be returning to this restaurant, but hope that others can have a better experience than we did - the food really was delicious!

It was my boyfriend birthday and we went to have a good dinner and we did alone with great music. The waitress was awesome. The food was good. Drinks were good as well.
