Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Charlotte, NC , Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

Parties of 5+ call: 312-659-1951 between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

I appreciate kitchens and cocktails for being a restaurant but what I don’t appreciate is feeling like I was robbed. The main reason is I feel like if you are selling me five star prices then I should be dining in a five star environment. The food was very very expensive And they had a menu for like a sports bar because I’m paying $19 or $13 for fried pickles I’m paying $19 for eggrolls like it’s just a robbery and then the other part I didn’t like was when you come in to wait because they have a dress code when you come in to wait for your table after you’ve had a reservation, you still wait another 30 to 40 minutes for your table It would be nice to have a place to sit down parking. Why don’t I have any valet parking or why y’all don’t validate parking most five star restaurants I go to valet parking is free. We just tipped the valet. I’m not clear what this is supposed to be, but it didn’t feel the atmosphere. I just want them to do a little bit better or adjust those prices to really service the environment that we’re in I will give it about a three star and I wouldn’t mind not having my bill like $85+20% gratuity Like on a single check. What if you didn’t even like the way the waiter was taking care of you because they don’t take care of you that well because they know they get $20 off $100 off the rip so y’all should really try to work on the ambience work on environment work on making the things match cause my bill was like 100 and something dollars for one person and all I had was eggrolls fried pickles and a drink and a drink was $30. This doesn’t make any sense so this was my first experience at kitchens and cocktails. I just really felt like I was robbed and it wasn’t about me not being able to afford the meal, but I don’t think I got the service the environment or it leveled up to the five stars that they charging me the bathrooms were nasty please just do better not to knock you down but please meet me halfway I am a paying customer came to support you

When we first walked into this upscale establishment. We were seated and it took the waitress that waited on our table a while to come and take our order. When the food arrived and it was quick. I was mortified that the shrimp and grits with lobster tail was heavily salted and dry. The grits were cold and stiff. However, my husband’s dinner was two fried chicken breast with a side of collards and turkey. The chicken was fresh and hot but his meal was like someone dropped a box of salt in the food. The cornbread looked and tasted like it came out of a box covered in honey. When we notified the waitress that we didn’t want our food and wanted to send it back. It was like everybody turned their backs to us the entire time. I was more thirsty than anything. Now, the water was great! If you’re looking for a nice upscale restaurant with good food and service DON’T MAKE ANY RESERVATIONS HERE!!! The pictures on the menu doesn’t do it justice! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Great Food. Very nice atmosphere 👌🏾 I celebrated my 50th Birthday there and I loved the fact that there was a photographer 📸 ready to help capture great memories.

The waiter was for the most accommodating but attempted to charge me for something I clearly said I did nnot like. After questioning the. Ridiculous price of the billl she stated she would ask her manager to remove one charge.. The check was almost $80 for 1 one side, 2 pork chops and a drink. Nothing in that place warranted that cost. The food at best was just ok. One persons pork chops were so dry it was like eating dust. The one highlight was the drinks. The restaurant automatically adds the tip and does not tell you but gives you options to add a tip. There is no presentation of a bill just a total shown to you on a hand held unless requested. I couldn’t wait to leave and will never go there again.

Great choice for a birthday brunch! My only complaint is the 20% gratuity that is added to all checks even if you split a part of the bill. I also wanted blackened fish and was given fried. Either way still a great choice for a fancy dinner.

You can definitely tell the energy in the building was off or different from the first time we came. This was our second time coming here and our server seemed like she had an attitude or just simply didn’t wanna be there this morning. The energy given was definitely not expected, we requested a particular server due to the amazing experience we had with him our first time but I’m gonna assume he wasn’t serving in the areas where we had to sit. The oxtails are definitely disgusting, the sauce recipe was not appealing but the manager was able to change my order to something else that I was grateful for.

We had 9pm reservations, but weren’t seated until around 10:15pm. We decided to hit the bar in the meantime. When we arrived, a couple was getting up so we grab those seats. The 2 bartenders didn’t say a word to us. The male bartender even slowly cleaned the previous couples plates and still didn’t say a word or even make eye contact. I then asked a passing person (who I thought was also a bartender but was actually a barback) if the bar was closed or if we could order drinks still since no one bothered offering us service. He grabbed the female bartender and she ended up providing us bar service. This is UNACCEPTABLE at a place that automatically adds in 20% gratuity!! A margharita and Tito’s w/ pineapple= $57! Once we were finally seated, the waiter (Hailey) comes over and is quite pleasant. Service from that point on was great. Only issue from there was the lobster bites. They were insufferably salty! The crabcakes and trinity rolls were delicious.
