KITARO Surf & Turf & Sushi is a 4000 sq. ft. restaurant that has seating for 140, large bar, patio dining for 40, and a private dining room that will seat 50. You will find the atmosphere modern and alive with energy. Our expanded bar will offer full service cocktails, fine wine, sake and handcrafted cocktails. We open 7 days a week.
Executive Chef and owner John Kitaro has over 30 years’ experience specializing in preparation of exquisite sushi dishes. He brings to your table not only the best sushi, but also stunning presentations of each dish that comes to your table.
Our new and expanded menu successfully marries extraordinary cuisine in an exquisite setting. Asian Fusion creations, a large selection of top quality steaks, lobster, sushi & much more. We believe that we have created the best of both Modern Asian cuisine and an upscale steakhouse for your dining pleasure.

Such great food!! Sushi was amazing! Drinks great too- lavender drop so yummy. Our server was wonderful. The Chicago Bear was awesome! We will be back!

I enjoyed the experience at the restaurant. Appetizers were excellent, especially the crab Rangoon. Entrees were well overpriced for the amount of food received. 40$ for 1 rib, some veggies and a handful of rice was not worth it. We will be back to try other items in the future.

This was my husband and my first time visiting. The reservation process using open table couldn’t be any easier. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. Caleb, our server, was busy as can be but checked in with us frequently and kept us updated with what was happening with our meal. The blueberry sangria was fresh and flavorful. My only “complaint” is the asparagus fries don’t come in a supersized portion! They were delicious! We had the sweet potato roll, the knucklehead roll, a salmon avocado roll, and the rainbow dragon roll. All of them were a 10/10 and the rainbow dragon may have been the best roll I’ve had! All in all, incredibly satisfied guests who will be back sooner rather than later.

My family actually took me here for Father’s Day. We ordered three sushi rolls, shrimp fried rice and two chicken hibachi plates. The sushi was good yet the hibachi tasted like microwaved rice and chicken from the freezer section at your local grocery store. This dish had much to be desired. I would recommend the sushi, but not the hibachi.
