I love what the owners have done! Rhinecliff is off the beaten path and mostly unknown to visitors from the city. The new owners have restored the space and the atmosphere is among the nicest in the region. Service was excellent and informed. Food is unmatched in the area. We will definitely return. If these owners would now consider renovating the old Rinecliff Inn, the entire area would be rejuvenated.

Very good and efficient service, a bit hurried, nice food presenations, Salmon was good and so was the Tuna Steak and Mushroom Toast. Pigs in the blanket - too salty and a tiny amount. We will be back! We live locally.

I like this restaurant. It’s not a destination restaurant, but it’s a good, honest restaurant delivering good, honest food with exemplary service at a fair price. I look forward to my next meal there.

We loved dinner at Kip's Tavern. It was our anniversary, and the food was exceptional and tasty. This was our first visit here, and loved the ambiance inside and out. Our server Barbara was great, and she was attentive and accomodated our requests. We will look forward to coming back again, and will try the brunch also.

What a charming spot on the water! Dining on the covered deck at Kips in the summer is something we look forward to all winter long.

Another great experience at Kips Tavern. The shrimp cocktail was flavorful and extra large. Served with a delicious cocktail sauce. Scallops special also didn’t disappoint. My husband had his go to favorite chicken pot pie, which is consistently good. Excellent service, craft cocktails and ambiance. A hidden gem with Hudson River views.
