Kipos Hellenic Cuisine, an elevated extension of Kipos Greek Taverna in Chapel Hill, boasts a large garden and extensive bar which features double-sided seating indoors and out – all of which lends to a spacious dining area that flows seamlessly from the dining room to the patio. The bright, light-filled dining room, with high ceilings, terrazzo floors, and a variety of seating areas.

Enjoy Kipos’ classic Greek menu, curated by Executive Chef George Delidimos – including its legendary Avgolemono, Moussaka, Tzatziki, grilled whole fish. In addition to the largest Greek wine selection in the area.

This restaurant is just too loud. They make it worse by playing loud music! You have to scream to be hear so then everyone is screaming. Horrible to go with friends ! Wish they would realize teens are not going there and most people want to converse, not scream!

Beautiful restaurant with wonderful ambiance spread out over several different venues within the restaurant. Staff was fantastic! Happy, friendly, well trained and energetic. My Rob Roy was one of the best I have ever had.

We absolutely loved everything about Kipos. My husband has hearing issues so when I reserved on Open table I requested a quieter area of the restaurant. They put us in a beautifully appointed, romantic, enclosed outdoor porch with a limited number of tables. We were the only ones for a while which made it super special. Even when every table filled the noise level was moderate & my husband could still hear me & the server. There was a large variety of Greek wine that I was not familiar with so I told the server, Kristi (I think) what I like (dry red with a hint of wood notes similar to Malbec or cab). She immediately came out with a suggestion from the Sommelier that was spot on (and not at all expensive). Our appetizer,two entrees (linguine & clams and lamb chops) & dessert were absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. We were given plenty of time between courses; we were given extra toast points for our appetizer; dirty dishes were cleared immediately & the Maitre d visited our table twice to make sure everything was as expected. Also on our way out the Maitre d asked if the noise level was ok. Last comment, the total bill reflected average not high prices — those of much lower quality restaurants. I really can’t say enough good things about Kipos! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

I had heard great things and was excited to try Kipos for my birthday, but sadly our food was extremely salty. We enjoy food with salt and I was so bummed that it was so overwhelmingly salty. I'd like to give it another try but for the price and telling our waiter we weren't told anything other than "Greek food is salty". The outside garden is amazing though!

Waiter was very unengaged. Food was good. Our table outside was noisy.

Truly exceptional food. Staff was friendly and available without being overbearing. Get the fava- it was spectacular.

We were seated on time, orders placed. Food was devine. Service was poor. Had to ask for water twice (empty glasses), when entrees came, table full with dirty dishes from appetizers that had to been removed while they stood there with hot entrees. Ordered red wine with entrees, had to remind them. Maybe first time server, don’t know. Again, food was wonderful, it was a special birthday dinner - good service would have made a difference. That being said, I will try again.
