On my visit there were plenty of Japanese customers, which is a good sign. As a Brit who lived in Japan I was very happy with the whole experience. Service was excellent.

Services was good. Food was very nice. Drinks are fine until we had our last meals. Decided to try green tea to wash out the meats that we are before but it was just hot water mix with matcha powder which was very bland. Poor matcha quality. Bad taste afterwards.

When we arrived, there was a queue of walk-ins and reservations but the host swiftly organised everything and our table was ready on time. We were sat upstairs this time, which was nice but the downside was that waiters/waitresses weren’t coming as frequently as they do downstairs. We opted for their January AYCE promo and it was well worth it for us, as Kintan is our absolute favourite restaurant. Food was great, service was fast and efficient.

We went to the lunch time as we seated a spacious table and was not noisy. Food value, portions and quality are so good! But due to minimum staff, service is a bit careless as the BBQ grill has not been replaced to the new one until on fire! Overall, it’s very satisfied dinner.

The food at Kintan is always amazing and exceptional value. The service is mostly great but some staff are quite perfunctory. Love this restaurant though, so will keep coming.
