We had a pre theatre meal. Excellent value, lovely food and buzzy ambience. Great cocktail list. Thoroughly recommend.

This was our first visit and it proved to be very enjoyable. We had the two course menu and the items we selected were cooked to perfection and all very tasty. The service was pleasant and very friendly and the atmosphere was good. We will be returning to Kino in the future.

Service was slow, didn't have wine I ordered, and glass of fizz was slow to come to table needed to ask on whereabouts. Wine was fine once arrived. Food well seasoned and tasty. Certain dishes require side dished.

The food was really fresh and delicious. The set menu was great value for money. It was a bit slow service but I think that this may have been because there was an event on. Would definitely come back to try the standard menu as the setting was lovely.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and very informative about the menu. An interesting selection on the menu. The food was well presented and delicious, with the exception of the accompanying vegetables, the portions were too small, and the roasted potatoes were overcooked and it was difficult to pierce them with the fork.

Food was good, main problem was how long it took to get to us. We arrived at 5.30 for pre theatre menu and our mains didn’t turn up till 6.30, so a bit of a rush for theatre at 7 - and no time for desert! Our waitress was great though, did what she could to hurry things along.

We arrived at the restaurant about 5 minutes before the allotted time which should have given us ample time to complete a meal before the start of an opera at the the Grand Theater next door. Unfortunately, we arrived moments after a group of 10 and our meal service was delayed while this group was served. Our waitress was apologetic about the delay but constant looking at our watches did not lead to a relaxed meal. We did not get out main course until 40 minutes after our arrival and only 40 minutes before the start of the opera. I should add that we were in our seats in time for the start and I would acknowledge the assistance that we received from the staff to ensure that we did. It was simply not the relaxed meal which we had been looking forward to. At a busy time, an hour and a half was not long enough for even a two course meal. As far as I was concerned , I was happy with the quality of the food: good but not outstanding. My wife was less happy, finding the sea bream so overcooked that it was difficult for her to remove the fish from the skin and bone.

I came with my husband, expecting a good experience, but we were disappointed in the end. Our starters (salmon and beetroot soup) were ok, but the main courses were confusing. The pork chop came accompanied by a gravy that tasted very strong. The fish came in full pieces, but they didn't provide the fish knife. It was so oily and tasteless. The plating for both main courses felt a bit lazy; nothing looked like the one on their website. The bay leaf panacota is a daring mix that didn't work for either of us. I am not sure if it’s because we came when it was 2 for £20 week, so they reduced the quality, but we don't think we want to come back.
