I love Kings of Kobe. Every menu item is delicious. Unlike most restaurants, KOK thrived during the pandemic because of their excellent food and attentive staff. When I was recovering from surgery, they were there bringing me delicious meals and a place to dine in with friends. Highly recommend.

Me and my husband really like coming here. We came for burgers since we enjoyed them so much last time we were here. But now they added a new selections of Wagyu steaks and my husband couldn’t resist. It was so delicious. Food and service was on point.

I found Kings of Kobe on Instagram and thought it would be a perfect place to celebrate a birthday. I chose this spot for the steak, but looking around when we dined in, it looks like people come for their burgers more. It is a little on the pricier end, but won’t break the bank for special occasions. My boyfriend ordered his steak medium, and the initial edge pieces made it appear to be cooked properly, but as he ate into the center, it was clearly closer to well done. We debated whether we should say anything, and ultimately he decided that he wanted to - it’s his birthday after all! So we alerted our server who called over a manager, who agreed that the steak was not cooked to request. He arranged for a whole new entree including the side, which did come as ordered. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, with a full bar on one side, and restaurant seating on the other. There was a group of 6 when we were there, and they were enjoying themselves (nothing against that!), but this is obviously not an establishment for that *intimate* feeling, unless you get lucky and your reservation is during a quieter time. We really appreciated the service, and if we do come back, we would try other burgers! One small thing I wanted to mention is that I noted in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and while not expected, it would have been a nice gesture if it was acknowledged (even a simple “happy birthday” would have sufficed).

Food took over an hour after ordering, mozzarella stick was cold on the inside, and the A/C didn't work. It was 75 degrees outside but unbearably hot inside. Most disappointing dining experience I've had in years.

Although the food was fun (giant mozzarella sticks, notorious PIG), it was not flavorful at all. Would not recommend the royal wagyu sliders since they just tasted like overcooked, grilled burgers. The core was still in the tomato slices as well which wasn’t pleasant. The giant mozzarella stick is cool to see, but was just fried breaded cheese. No seasoning or flavors added. The hot dog in the Notorious PIG was tasty, but the pastry on the outside seemed undercooked and wasn’t flaky at all. The prices are way too high for the quality of the food. Not the best ambiance since there was a kid running and screaming throughout the place, but that wasn’t the restaurant’s fault.
