Staff very friendly & accommodated our guests being held up for 30 minutes after table was booked for. Food good - can recommend vegetarian wellington. Good selection of drinks. Lovely & quiet when we had Sunday lunch. Good to see dogs welcome too.

The worst Sunday roast I have ever had. Whilst eating out I'm used to the roast beef being pink, however here it was over cooked and very dry, thankfully there was gravy to make it more bearable. Although they ate ok the parsnips were hard to cut. The rest of my group were polite and said they didn't have an issue, however afterwards they did make comments that the quality was poor. We also had a long wait for the main and dessert courses, but this can be excused as it was Father's Day. The staff were very friendly, polite and pleasant.

Very impressed with the choices on the supper club menu. Fast service and good wine supplemented our meals. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Excellent service from a lovely waitress, who was more than happy to adapt menu items for us. The food was delicious and we can particularly recommend the steak and ale pie. Good selection of real ales. Two courses with drinks and coffee for £30 per head so good value too. We will be back and are happy to recommend.

Met with friends for evening meal, food was delicious and the service was excellent. Only one thing spoiled it was a table arrived with 4 dogs, who did keep barking. Tricky I know to keep dogs quiet, but perhaps more appropriate to not have dogs in the restaurant. Wouldn’t stop us returning tho.

Good choice for a Saturday family lunch, service was good and food was nice. Perhaps a little on the pricey side but overall good value.

It was a lovely meal in a nice setting. Attentive staff and a good selection of food. Only issue was the gluten free options which were extremely scant. That needs a real rethink. Otherwise very much recommended.

Way too much salt on the chips, both my grandchildren had chips along with the fish and chips my friend had. The service was extremely slow.. very limited choice for dairy allergy on desserts not use to this from the kings head
