Established in 2020, King’s Fish House is San Jose’s choice for seafood. Located at the Westfield Valley Fair, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

The food and experience was great, my oysters tasted fresh and delicious, the sea bass was cooked perfectly, a larger portion would have been better appreciated though. The service was very good,

From beginning to end we enjoyed every moment. Service, food, ambiance was great. We laughed through cocktails, indulged in our food. It was a busy Valentine’s evening but staff never missed a beat. We will definitely be back!

The service was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and Valentine’s Day was memorable because of staff

I have never been disappointed every time I go there the food is fantastic. The staff is amazing. I cannot say how much I enjoy going to King’s Fish House.

Super slow service. Food was without any taste, we ordered plate and were disappointed with the taste and quality

Very pleasant. We were seated in an out of the way booth. There were two groups setting near us but we could hardly hear them. The cocktail s were perfect. We started with an interesting and tasty appetizer of clams with garlic and andoli sausage. My wife had the fresh dungeoness crap: messy and delicious. I had the scallops, grilled to perfection and served with colorful carrots. The carrots were seasoned well and cooked just right. The only complaint was the crème brûlée was slightly over crystallized leaving a bitter aftertaste, but my key lime pie was excellent. Overall a lovely dining experience.

No one came to serve us, and I waited a long time for the check. Eventually, I had to go to the front desk to check out, but the staff was rude. She insisted it wasn’t her responsibility and told me to ask a waiter instead. Additionally, I had requested a round table, but they gave me a different type of table without any explanation.

We came when it first opened, and the food was quality! Upon our return this time, the food felt more like the grade of eating at Chili’s. We were disappointed.
