Booked the Kings Arms because they served a little later on a Sunday. However we were all very very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, very hot, service was very friendly and efficient and all incredible value for money. I will definitely return, as too will my friends.

Really friendly pub, it was quiz night so very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious, my husbands steak was cooked to perfect.

Although food and service were good, as it was a Friday night it was very noisy. Will choose a different day next time!

Chose the ten pound meal deal for three people, my burger was very good value with fresh salad leaves, my wife's fish and chips the fish was overly small with thick batter and my son's wraps contained non descript meat. Only one choice of beer was available,the offer listed a greater selection. Overall we had the feeling we should not have chosen the offer, and will know next time.

Great food and friendly service. Would have given 5 stars overall but for one very noisy group of people (one person in particular) on a table near us. This was our second visit and we had the same situation first time.

I had checked online before booking and they were a '6 nations' pub, brilliant, in was staying overnight in Stansted, my cousin was driving down from Solihill to meet me, so I booked a table for Sunday lunch, thought we could watch the Ireland v Italy game, have a couple of drinks and have a great afternoon. Food is great value for money, my wife got the duo roast, her beef couldn't be cut or chewed, youd be quicker trying to eat your shoe, and the chicken seemed to be deep dried with the batter, really was very very poor. No right available and I pretty much got laughed at when I asked, there was football on and the noise levels were very high, we pretty much sat in silence because we couldn't hear ourselves.
