Went to dinner with high expectations based on family visiting here before. Needless to say, we were not let down. The peanut soup lived up to the hype and our dinner was phenomenal. Yes, it was expensive, but the quality and taste is why it’s expensive. We can’t wait to come back again!

The entire experience is not to miss in Williamsburg. True authentic 17th century meal. Our waitress was amazing Pauline was really amazing. Her knowledge and answering all our questions made the night.

Our onion pies were lukewarm and though they were onion, the ingredients of potatoes and apples were overwhelmed. My winter sangria was too heavy on the cinnamon, masking other flavors. The bread and accompaniments tasted great. Our server was attentive, pleasant and welcoming. The ambiance and minstrel also added to the dinner. It all made the colonial experience worth having.

Having been a long time visitor to Williamsburg since I was a child, I wish I could have given a higher rating. For the amount of money we paid (family of 4, ended up being almost $200 and that was being conservative with what we ordered.) Bathrooms need major updating. There needs to be more attention to the experience from the moment you walk in the door to the end of your time there. The food was exceptionally good and was worth the price paid. Just be aware that you’ll spend a lot of money.

Our waitress was incredible and she made the overall experience unbelievable. I don’t think the food was worth the cost but I think you’re more there for the experience. Be prepared to eat under candle light!

Food was mostly great, service was entertaining and excellent. The only complaint was mashed potatoes instead of French fries with the chicken strips - and no gravy…

We love the King’s Arms Tavern. We go every time we’re in Williamsburg. The food was great. The service was amazing. Everything was superb.

I thought this was a wonderful experience. Lots of history and some nice music. Our waiter was excellent. The salmon was yummy !!
