Outstanding food and service. We were there on a Saturday night and it was really loud and quite hot, and this took away a bit from our meal, but we would certainly return bc the food was so good.

The entire staff took great care in making sure our food was fabulous, and our experience was amazing. It was incredible to have the Owner and the Manager go out of their way to stop by the table numerous times to check on us! We never felt rushed or hustled. Our waitress was great and made sure our glasses were filled. This is the kind of restaurant you go to when you want to relax, have fun, and eat amazing food! Cheers!

I love what this iconic WBNC has done. The right side of the establishment is the same as it has been since I can remember..which goes back to sometime in the 80s. It’s a fun bar that feels like the k side of a wooden ship. Now the left side is a modern, beautifully decorated restaurant. There Is a variety of sea life art and most especially sea rays. The food?! Seriously as good as any in the area. I had the flounder with crab and a light beach Mel over a little pasta and my daughters had the salmon over a short sweet potato hash. The 3 of us shared the ,Caesar which had a bright taste of fresh basil. I’m so happy to see this place thrive. The food was always good but now - off the chart. We love you King Neptune!

Ordered 5 different appetizers and couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried. They were all very delicious!! Exceptional food!

The food and service was phenomenal! Great for a fancy date night after a long day at the beach! The drinks were refreshing and fairly priced and the ambiance was nice and quiet.

Delicious meals...everyone was impressed. Desserts were also above average. My only complaint was the food was not hot, only lukewarm. Maybe heated plates would help. We will be back in the fall !

The new owner has done an outstanding job of creating a great dining space while keeping the other room (known as the Pirate side) the same as it has been for decades. Kudos! The new menu is very well done with fresh local fish and a skilled chef. I recommend you try this place.
