On October 4th, 2022 the Dutch red windmill opened her doors to Fred & Diana.

Diana is known for Diana's Pancakes, across Barcelo and before that, she was the owner of a similar pancake place next to the mill.

Fred is known for his former restaurants Chef's Tables, 2 Fools and a Bull and Fred Restaurant in downtown Oranjestad.

The two decided to work together and King Fred & Princess Diana was born. Diana delights guests with Dutch pancakes in the morning, while Fred takes the reins in the evening, serving a diverse range of international cuisine for dinner.

On the second floor you will find our souvenir shop that can be visited anytime upon request.

The third floor belongs to Frans, who is a well known bartender in the Aruban hospitality industry. He will serve you cold drinks for a reasonable price.

This was probably our 4th time here. We have been long time Chef Fred fans. All the meals are fabulous and we’ve had many. And of course his soups are amazing. Place is adorable and the service was great. Prices are also very reasonable. Its a must for us every time in Aruba

Our dinner experience was absolutely outstanding! We have been following Fred on the island for many years, this is by far the best value, absolutely healthy ingredients and every bite is just delicious. In addition, Fred is an outstanding chef, and a genuinely nice guy. So nice, that he knows my favorite food and actually purchased it just for me, to enjoy, it is not even on the menu any longer. I strongly encourage anyone visiting Aruba to visit King, Fred and Princess Diana. You will not be sorry! Please check out his menu. There’s something for everyone! In addition, service is fast, cocktails are wonderful, and staff is outstanding!

Very good food with reasonable prices.. Both the mushroom and mustard soup were delicious.. chicken cordon blue and chicken stir fry were delicious

Our experience was superb. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance was fine. The price was very reasonable, although we found the charge for tap water to be curious. We will revist next year when we return to Aruba.

Food was ok. Server was very nice but brought our dinners and forgot our appetizers. My grouper wasn’t flaky but more chewy. I didn’t eat it .. only two bites. Typically a server would notice and say something when they take your plate but didn’t. People were extremely nice though.

Totally enjoyed dinner at King Fred’s. The cordon bleu was excellent and so was the schnitzel. We’ll be back next year!
