Lovely place, relaxing, calm environment. Staff were brilliant, helpful. Helped understand my wife allergy. Food was delightful, good amount for the price. We had a ribeye steak, sirloin steak, fries, salad, mac and cheese. Can’t fault any of it. Ribeye was very good. Definitely go again.

I booked Kindling after hearing from a friend that it was good. We were greeted immediately on entering the restaurant despite it being busy. We were early so we were seated at the bar for a short while where we ordered a mocktail which was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and seemed very cheerful, they were happy to help us decide on what to order. I loved the open kitchen and was surprised at how quickly the chefs and waiting staff worked to prepare meals. The steak is the best I have ever had. It was one of those rare occasions where the bill came to less than I thought it would. The ambiance was perfect and not too noisy or quiet. I had a lovely evening and will definitely be returning soon!

Nice food, portions on the small side for us. Service was friendly, polite and professional. Lovely ambience. More alcohol free options would have been nice. Overall we had a great time and will be recommending to friends and returning.

I enjoyed my visit on Friday. We were welcomed on arrival and found the service excellent. The food was really good too. All three courses were of good quality. I found the portion sizes were just right. The restaurant was very busy, which was good to see, especially on a Friday. All in all very good. I would have liked to have seen a little more choice for non red meat eaters.

Service was quick and attentive. Staff are amazing and the ambience is fantastic. Highly recommend this establishment.

We had a lovely meal here. All the food we had was delicious (croquettes, steak, burger, mac and cheese, cheesecake) - the lemon posset was the only slight let down, but otherwise this was a great experience and would recommend.

Went for late lunch early supper. Sat at the pass! Great experience to see everything we ordered being prepared and cooked. Chef’s were very engaging in conversation whilst working hard. Didn’t realise till after eating that Chef Ewan was actually an owner too! All in all a very good meal had. Recommended lamb and sitting at the pass! Will return.
