This is not the Kimura we know and love. Our chef was awesome, specially with the kids but the menu changed, there’s no longer happy hour. The steak was fatty and they didn’t give out the fun hats for a birthday. The wine was awful, on the bill it said Whiteheaven but they poured out of a giant wine bottle and it was terrible. They were out of beers and when we ordered Sake, it was watered down. Lastly, when one of the members of our party asked why 20% was added, the server rolled her eyes and made a sound like she was so annoyed. Mind you, we cleaned up the table twice and had to put dishes to the side ourselves. I am sad to leave this review because we loved going there but it’s definitely not the great place we knew.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m truly sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. While I’m glad the chef made the evening enjoyable for the kids, I regret the issues with the menu changes, food quality, beverages, and service. To address your concerns, we are currently reviewing our Happy Hour offerings, and kids’ menus are being reprinted to enhance the family dining experience. The quality of our steak, wine, and sake is being investigated to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Additionally, I will be addressing the service concerns with our team to prevent such behavior in the future. We value your loyalty and would love to make things right. Food was good but missed the shrimp appetizer no longer served. Our ‘cook’ was not very entertaining which was disappointing since we had our GC with us.

They take reservations and do not honor them. They lead you to believe you will have a table and keep you waiting for OVER AN HOUR or more by telling you, you’re the next to be seated. The food is low quality and the manager is nasty. I would NOT ever go back there. I gave them 2 chances and the experience was the EXACTLY the same both times! STAY AWAY!!!!

Not a good representation I am sure being New Years Eve and so crowded. We have been every New Years Eve here and this was by far the most crowded and staff overwhelmed. Usually good service but not on New Years Eve as you will probably denote from other diners.

As usual the food and entertainment were wonderful. Very disappointed that you no longer serves the Purple Haze sake drink. It was something we specifically came to Kimura for. The bar service was terrible. It took nearly 30 minutes for one of us to get our 1st drink after being seated.

Our chef at the Hibachi table was very amusing and entertaining. The food was excellent. The only negative last night was after our salads were served we waited 30 minutes until the chef came to our table and began to prepare our food on the Hibachi grill, and we were a full table.

RESERVATION WAS NOT HONORED! Made a reservation several days advance. Three handicapped people in our party so a reservation was important. Drive 40 minutes to get there. Arrived and the check in line was out the door. I thought these were all people who just walked up. Nope, several said they had reservations and had been waiting almost an hour beyond their time. I couldn’t have our party wait like that. So we left. We were excited for this dinner, but wound up having cheese sandwiches. Not merry Christmas to us! The crazy part is that they were still accepting reservations on OpenTable.

We had a 6:00 reservation for 5. We arrived on time, but due to the holiday and the amount of customers, they anticipated a 20 minute wait which is exactly what it took to get seated. We were fine with that. Everything else was great.
