   Excellent food as always especially lamb kofta and potatoes with zhoug. A bit cramped as the refurbishment goes ahead but plans sound great.

   The food is good but on this visit was not matching previous experience. Hope it's not slipping The beer is good.

   Can’t ever fault Kiln, have been every birthday for 4 years and whenever I can in between! Love my, attentive staff, incredible food and drinks! So thankful it exists

   The food is delicious and the staff are brilliant. We ordered too much and would've taken up the offer of having it boxed up to take home but we were moving on for drinks. We'll definitely be back here!

   Fantastic ingredients appropriately prepped to celebrate ever flavour and texture , Service attentive and accommodating for individual tastes. I.e. will bring out more of one ingredient if customer feels they would enjoy a stronger flavour of an item to enhance the experience. This is the kind of place that is welcoming to all walks of life and palates. Puuuuurfect for lazy afternoons with friends and family ( including pooches) all year round. The smell of the wood fire going , the gorgeous cocktails, and no Frou Frou Ke Aromata as my father would say. No Airs and Graces. Just beautifully cosey and comfortable

   What an amazing find. We loved this place and will be coming back. A bit off the beaten track but from here you can walk to meet the Tyne and then head up to the Quayside. Had the toasted cheese sandwich which sounds very simple but was a work of art. All of my party loved their food.
