Kiln is a small restaurant in the heart of the Ouseburn. We make everything ourselves and push to be better than the day before.

We serve brunch every morning from 10am to 4:30pm.

Our Mediterranean & Middle Eastern inspired tapas style menu is served from 5pm to 10pm.

Our great coffee, homemade cakes and cocktails are served all day - and we’re dog friendly!

Please inform the staff of any allergies when booking & due to the nature of our menu please note we cannot accommodate anyone with a severe nut or sesame allergy.

A beautiful spot with beautiful food. Booked for a lunch with my mum and we had a lovely cosy time. The food was so delicious and came away already wanting to go back. Everything tasted super fresh and the bread was so yummy!

The setting is quirky, and fun. Food is delicious, and different. Staff were attentive and helpful.

Great quality Middle Eastern style meze and brunch. Super fresh and light. Perfect on a hot day. We came exclusively for brunch but will certainly be back for small plates and drinks on an evening!

We enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere here, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The plates appear to have been made on site - most are great but the side plates have a tendency to tip up when you’re cutting food, so avoid them if you’re on a first date!

Very busy so service took a while but worth the wait. Great selection and food. We will definitely be back. Lovely coffee also

Kiln is a lovely cafe/restaurant which is decorated really thoughtfully but the staff seemed quite disorganised. We visited for father's day and ordered the 2 course brunch where we both had the banana bread and granola with yoghurt starter followed by shakshuka eggs which were nice but could have had a bit more flavour. My son ordered the Rich’s mum’s Banana Bread for £9. The portion was underwhelming. 2 thin slices of banana bread with 2 triangles of butter and small pots of jam, for that price we atleast expected 2 chunky pieces of banana bread or some granola on the side like our starter. My son still being hungry got a slice of cake to take away with him. They made a total hash of cutting the cake, it was in 2 pieces and the female who cut the cake licked the cake off her fingers after cutting it and proceeded to put her hands all over the cake box, it was handed to us with smeary finger prints all over the box. Very unhygienic. I wanted to note this was not the same person who brought our food and drinks. Overall it was an ok experience but not sure I'd rush back.
