Kiln restaurant is closed for an extra special popup to celebrate the night before Thanksgiving! Bring your friends & family, (even your stepmom, if she behaves). We will be featuring buckets of fried chicken, and bottles of our favorite, beer, wine and champagne on special, in addition to a limited menu to help prepare ourselves for holiday time with the fam. Join us for our first ever Thanksgiving dinner at Kiln restaurant! Our chefs have put together a thoughtful array of dishes for you and your family to enjoy for the holiday. Our 3 course dinner menu will be available from 2pm-8pm For $98 a person (plus tax and gratuity), guests can select one dish from each of the three categories. Please inform the restaurant 48 hours in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We look forward to welcoming and celebrating with you! A deposit of $40 per person is required and will be applied towards your final bill

A gem. A NYC energy with the open kitchen. A great menu that evolves seasonally. The chef and his team have added a solid restaurant to Old Town.

The food was beyond amazing. The catfish was on point and the steak cooked to perfection. Make a reservation soon because once this place takes off you won’t be able to make one!

Prices were too high for the quality and amount given. The steak was slightly tough and some of the onions were not cooked properly so tasted raw which is too bitter.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Kiln’s Chef’s Counter last evening. The food, drink and service were all top notch, and sitting at the counter and interacting with Chef Matt and his team was informative and great fun! We really enjoyed the raw oysters - taken to a new flavorful level with a touch of smokey oil. The kohlrabi salad, smoked clams and the drum crudo were all creative and delicious. We had the tile fish and pork chop as entrees and both were well executed and very tasty. It’s been a long time since we had a dinner of this caliber in Old Town! Kiln is a welcome addition to the community!

An incredible addition to the dining scene in the DMV! Chef and his team are creating sublime tastes, extraordinary twist on classic American dishes. The parker house rolls infused with a hint of seaweed are exceptional. A magic spray of a specially crafted vinegar graced an 18 hour cabbage. Crudo swam in a broth of delightful surprises. A coulotte steak grilled to perfection! A wine and cocktail list with nods to the old and new worlds. And chocolate rye cookies with a sprinkle of Maldon finished an exquisite experience.

Absolutely loved this place. A must stop location in Old Town. The food was phenomenal, we had great service, the ambience impeccable - though the noise level was difficult to contend with. Cannot wait to be back.
