Kicker’s is all about making memories over great food and drinks. With decades of restaurant experience in the Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, and Paso Robles areas, we decided it was time to bring the best seafood in Central California to our community all under one roof.

Over the years, we’ve learned that quality, community, and customer service come before anything — so when you come to Kicker’s, you’ll be treated like family. Our goal is to provide you with big flavors, an inviting atmosphere, and consistency every time you come in.

The New England clam chowder in the bread bowl was the best I’ve ever eaten. Our server, Brian, was very friendly and accommodating and made our meal special.

Food was great! Live music was great! Service poor - seemed to forget every course from wine to entree - empty water and wine glasses. Could have been a bigger bar bill and tip if anybody cared. The only part that was timely was running our credit card.

Casual restaurant with a choice of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options available. Food quality is decent. Portions are large.

We got there pretty late but they were very nice & the service was excellent!

Terrible all around. This place is worse than applebees. Id assume theyre trying to cut corners anywhere they can.

I felt like the portions were all kind of small for the price. I wasn’t wowed by anything and there was just something missing overall. It was disappointing all the cocktails are made with soju.

We had an OK dinner. The kids ordered the chicken strips and they were very good. I had the lobster sandwich which was very good but 3 of the party had the crab stuffed sole and it was eh. They would not order again. The lobster sandwich was very fresh lobster on a brioche roll served with drawn butter and fries and I would definitely order again. The ambiance is very nice with ocean view windows, but they had a live singer who ruined the nice environment . Unfortunately she could not sing and was quite ear piercing! Our waiter was very very good, very friendly and very pleasant .

We were disappointed when we asked for the shrimp to be blackened and it was basically raw.

We wanted a view of the annual kite festival, and this was just so-so for that, but the "Rock" was spectacular on a sunny day! Other than that, it was a mixed experience: The Bloody Marys coming out of the kitchen were beautiful, with lots of garnish including a jumbo shrimp. I'm suspicious of "soju"however, and would have preferred "real" vodka", but I suspect that Kicker's liquor license is for beer and wine only. My husband had the Mexican mixed-seafood cocktail was quite large and included quite a bit of avocado - nice. The oysters "Rockefeller" didn't knock my socks off, but was (almost) passable. Wait staff was very nice, but seemed to be pushing more food for us to order. As it was, with four drinks and two appys, it was still a $100 lunch! Yikes.
