Kettner’s Townhouse is a restaurant and Champagne Bar with 33 bedrooms, in a historic Georgian building in London’s Soho.

Established in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, Kettner’s was one of the first restaurants in London to serve French food. The French restaurant at Kettner’s Townhouse has a menu inspired by the history of the building, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, using locally sourced ingredients from the UK.

The staff were extra helpful as I had left my phone/wallet at home. Service quiet and calming. Not enough vegan choices but good the dish we ordered.

Overall a wonderful place, great service, great drinks wonderful bar and restaurant. Unfortunately my main course and sweet were disappointing. The cote de porc and French fries were well overseasoned to the fact I couldn’t eat all the fries they were too salty and the porc not much better. We were recommended the pomme tart tatin which we both had and it had no colour to it at all looked very bland and taste wasn’t that good. In hindsight I should have sent the food back. I would try the restaurant again as it was I’m sure just an off day but definitely go back for the bar experience
