Kettner’s Townhouse is a restaurant and Champagne Bar with 33 bedrooms, in a historic Georgian building in London’s Soho.

Established in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, Kettner’s was one of the first restaurants in London to serve French food. The French restaurant at Kettner’s Townhouse has a menu inspired by the history of the building, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, using locally sourced ingredients from the UK.

                                                      Food was simple but extremely good, typically French. Room glamorous and at the same time comfortable. Waiters lacked charm but rest of the staff were excellent. Overall highish price but you get what you pay for, would definitely recommend.

                                                      What a lovely night! My partner and I enjoyed every bit of it. Good value for money, friendly service, lovely atmosphere and very tasty food. Would recommend.

                                                      Atmosphere is great - buzzy without being noisy, busy without being crowded. Staff could not have been more helpful in accommodating our group and all our extra requests. Food is not as good as it has been, but drinks still good and good value. Thank you!

                                                      An unusual combination of glamorous and comforting. Food all about deliciousness as opposed to ideology or themes. Only detraction was the noise level. Very loud fellow diners.

                                                      The simple thing is that it’s not worth it. Place is nice and the service is good. People are nice. The food was ok but it was just so noisy. Hard to talk and very overwhelming. Many other places to go. I would skip this location for dinner.

                                                      Very lovely last minute booking, beautiful food, slow service but staff were very courteous and professional. Food was of a large amount you would definitely not go hungry here. So many flavours….can not fault.

                                                      I’d forgotten what a lovely room the restaurant is! Shame that on a Sunday night there weren’t more diners. After all, the menu was diverse and excellent value. Even the simplest of starters, eggs mayonnaise, was really tasty and though the Salade Lyonnaise lacked any chicken livers at all, it was enjoyable. Our Estonian waiter was attentive and fun and the house wine was eminently drinkable. All four of us had a very positive experience.
