Kettner’s Townhouse is a restaurant and Champagne Bar with 33 bedrooms, in a historic Georgian building in London’s Soho.

Established in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, Kettner’s was one of the first restaurants in London to serve French food. The French restaurant at Kettner’s Townhouse has a menu inspired by the history of the building, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, using locally sourced ingredients from the UK.

Restaurant was empty which should have been a clue for what was to follow! No complaints about the waiter, the wine or the general ambiance. However, the chicken pie was dreadful and the mouse scurrying across the dining floor was something that I haven’t seen since the 1980s!

Love the ambiance in Kettners. Great table cocktails and service. Starters better than mains but maybe we didn’t pick well. Good selection of plant based and vegetarian options. Highly recommend

The service was really good. We were taken to a nice table for food after drinks and the food was really good. We were well looked after and the ambience was not too noisy. Was perfect for a pre theatre meal and catch up. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely time, amazing service, friendly professional staff. Food was great, just wish there was more options to choose from. Overall would go back.

Very good food, friendly, attentive and efficient service. Lovely dining room and great value for money if you are a Soho House member. Definitely coming back.

Pretty good value, food was very nice if not quite as good as it used to be in the old days pre-Covid. Doesn’t feel quite the same under new owners but generally good friendly service and still a special venue.

Really very good food, wonderful ambience and extremely attentive staff. Air conditioning a bit cold if you sit by the window but staff did correct that too

Excellent location in the heart of Soho Round the corner from world famous Ronnie Scott’s jazz venue Very friendly and helpful staff who let us come back to finish our wine after the jazz Quite a funky lively vibe Cetainly will come back again if going to Ronnies
