Welcome to Kestrel, a new venue where celebrated chef and TV personality Richard Blais imparts his Left Coast take on American classics, signature cuts + coastal catches in a fresh, California- modern space that evokes the energy of surrounding flora + fauna. Perched atop the entryway stairs at Indian Wells Golf Resort, the restaurant reveals an airy, earth-toned dining room and expansive bar that invites in soaring views of mountain peaks, verdant fairways and ombre sunsets. The outdoor terrace, complete with open-air bar and table seating, frames the perfect social setting to enjoy the region's culinary style and natural allure. We strive to create a mind-blowing experience founded on impeccable service for every table. Staring with our signature tableside Liquid Nitrogen Margarita and custom-made Chips & Guac.     Lovely space. Food so mediocre. Shouldn’t never have changed a local barcode restaurant into a high end dining experience. Food so basic and unimpressive. Service was excellent and that’s important. I hope that the resort realizes its mistake and ends this experiment!

    Kestrel has the best venue in the Coachella Valley. The views are spectacular and the valet service is great. We had the Sea Bass and it was excellent.

    The food was fantastic, but the service was abysmal. Granted, it was Valentine’s Day, so it was very busy. But we were barely checked on at our table, it took us 35 minutes once we ordered to receive our first course, we had to ask for water refills several times, and they entirely missed one of the items on my plate. They said they would check on it, and I never heard another word about it. My husband has a nut allergy, so we asked if there were nuts on the salad on his plate, and it took 15 minutes to receive an answer. Again, the food was amazing and delicious, but they really need to work out the service aspect. On a special night, we felt ignored and unimportant.

    They outrageously over booked for Valentine’s day. Patrons with reservations were greeted with 30-45 minute waits. we finally found a seat at the bar. After a very long time we finally got drinks. We never were approached to give us a table, even though we had a reservation, we finally ordered a little bar food. It was an insane night, patrons and staff alike had a horrible experience. I’ve never experienced anything like it at a nice restaurant. They even had a pre-fixe menu for the night. We were told that they planned to turn all the tables each hour. On a special night and with that four course menu that never could have happened

    We went on Valentine’s Day with a 6:45 reservation. We arrived promptly and were told it was a half hour wait. The wife was not happy … 30 minutes later it was another 20 minutes. They had empty table but not enough servers. The staff did the best they could but it was somewhat disastrous and no one was happy. The dinner turned out to be fine but nothing special and the mood was ruined. I was really looking forward to it, disappointing.

    Requested table by Fireplace and followed up 2 days before reservation but still did mot have table reserved for me Service was slow because of Valentine’s dinner

    We had a reservation for 5:45 on Valentine’s Day. By 6:45, no one had come to our table to even take our drink order. We went and grabbed the manager to order, and half an hour later we still didn’t even have a drink. At 7:15 we walked out, alongside many other patrons who had experienced the same thing. The lobby was full of angry patrons. What a disaster.
