A creation of Chef Danny Grant and Chef Hari Chan, Kessaku offers elegant sushi made with fresh, globally sourced fish and warm artisanal rice. The menu showcases an array of nigiri, sashimi and rolls from the very traditional to the unexpected.

Kessaku, which means masterpiece in Japanese, boasts 360-degree views of the Dallas skyline from the historic observation deck at the top of The National. The intimate 60-seat restaurant is lavishly designed to feel like a hidden club in London where every corner of the space tells a story unlike any other in Dallas.

So our reservation was at 9 and we got there before 9 and got seated at 930. No complaints as there is an observatory area you can sit and wait at. They get a bit busy, and because it's such a great vibe a few people tend to linger at their table a lot longer than expected. Service was great, and the food was fantastic. This is our second time going and plan to go back again soon

Lychee martini so tasty. Cool views of downtown. Fresh, quality Sushi. A nice intro to Dinner at Monarch.

The food was great quality, but you pay a pretty penny and the drinks are just are expensive as some of the sushi rolls. We were a little disappointed that it was our anniversary and that was not recognized even though I noted it on our reservation and again when we confirmed it.

Extremely overpriced sushi. We ordered 2 rolls and 2 drinks and were charged 95 dollars. Bring your wallet cause this place is very expensive. Ambiance was nice and elegant. Small area. Beautiful night view of Dallas

Upon entering the building, we were greeted by a very nice host, (Brendan?) serving champagne, a nice touch. Food and service were excellent.

Amazing as usual! Kesssku has become one of my favorite places for sushi and an amazing view and vibe. Food was excellent and my specially made Paloma was outstanding 🤩🙏🏽❣️

Nics, we're glad you joined us and enjoyed our food. Our menu is focused on about a dozen curated appetizers, several sushi rolls, and our famous seafood tower. Most guests find plenty to suit their needs, but we do appreciate your feedback and we hope you will join us again. Thank you.

Very nice restaurant with an amazing view. However the limited menu was a disappointment, maybe a dozen items…total, to choose from. Not sure what the issue was, but any decent Japanese restaurant has more than 12 options. 2 salads, 3 other apps and 4-5 rolls. That was it. The salmon was excellent and spicy tuna was good. Just wish they had more variety. Service and staff were excellent and did a great job.
