First off, the service is great here. There are nearly as many people working as there were customers and they were attentive and friendly. The inside is certainly upscale in its decor with orchids, nice furniture, attractive wall coverings, and a well displayed and stocked bar. The menu is fairly simple, but everything is ala carte, so be prepared for the most expensive meal in town when you order, as nothing comes with any sort of side. For a college town it seems to be a little too upscale. The food is well presented and tasteful, with decent portions, but…The least expensive steak in this “steakhouse” is $55! So add in a side and a salad and you’re looking at a minimum $75 ticket for the least expensive steak! That’s the price of every other restaurant’s “most” expensive full meal, not ala carte either! So, if you’re prepared for sticker shock, it’s a great very, very special date location. Not for the casual diner for sure.
