   The omakase experience was absolutely amazing. After having other omakase experiences in Las Vegas and SF, I had high expectations. Kenji went above and beyond. The staff was attentive, and the sushi chefs, Tu and Vu, were very personable, welcoming and knowledgeable. The cocktails were great, but the highlight was the food and having a front row seat watching the artistry of sushi making happen. And the personalized menus were a lovely touch. I normally don't leave reviews, but this place was extraordinary Definitely recommended.

   The fish was extraordinarily fresh and truly amazing. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and a lot of fun. The chef shared his passions for his craft and explained the fine details of all the ingredients, their treatment, and the combination of flavors. We will definitely be back next time we’re in New Orleans!

   Unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience. The courses left more to be desired. We ended up leaving hungry which has never been the case for me after an omakase experience. I had seen the good reviews and thought it would be a nice luxury dinner but I didn’t receive that. I will be going back to Yo Nashi in the future when I want a luxury omakase experience.

   Tu and Vu were the best! Food was incredible and would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

   the omakase was absolutely outstanding and the pistacchio beignets were mind blowing. we got great, personable service. the ONLY downside, one not big enough to take off stars, was the music. the genres were super random and the volume was too loud to hear my partner most of the time even though the rest of the restaurant was mostly empty. that being said though, i’d still go back even if they didn’t make any change to the music… hope they do though

   Counting the days til my next visit. Chefs, our server, food, everything and I mean everything was exceptional.

    For the price of Kenji, it couldn't be more not worth it. My partner and I felt constantly rushed by the waitress our whole meal, and she asked if we were ready for dessert 30 minutes into our meal. Not to mention we ordered the crème-filled beignets without the crème, and this took 45 minutes. We were not impressed, as the sushi wasn't good enough to make up for everything else. And to top it off the bill is pricey. So for anyone looking for sushi, I wouldn't recommend Kenji. There are much better and cheaper options available.
