At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden.
Our executive chef, Christopher Hutchison, creates amazing, innovative dishes to be enjoyed and shared with friends and loved ones. We now have an AA rosette for 2023/2024 to highlight his and the teams amazing work. We are located on Cowcaddens Road, just around the corner from our sister restaurant, Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar and a stones throw from the theatre royal. Perfect for a meal before a show. Relax in our modern, airy restaurant and watch the chefs work in the open kitchen. Our signature dish is our crab doughnut, you'll be amazed!

The food and service was really good, especially the barman Omah, who was really friendly. The food was delicious and value for money. Our visit was badly let down by being told we could not order any further hot food. Our table was booked for 8.30pm and after only 50mins later we were told that no more hot food was available, even though we were told to order 3 or 4 dishes to start with, then order more if required. This was really disappointing especially as we hadn’t even been at our table for an hour! If we were able to order more food, we would probably have ordered more drinks, so the restaurant have lost out on more money! Would we return, I am not sure after a disappointing end to our visit.

Every single dish was delicious with wonderful combinations of flavours. The portions were good and not overpriced and the staff was very friendly and attentive.Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent service and nice menu with well balanced portions. Only negative is dishes tend to arrive close together so best to look at it like tapas with a view to sharing. Nice ambiance

Tapas with a twist. Loved it. My best meal in Glasgow. Yum food, served with a smile. Lovely decor.

Enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant, from the moment of arrival to the end of meal ,nothing seemed to much trouble to the staff,our waiter introduced himself and went through everything with us ,the food and attention to detail was impressive, we will definitely be back here soon

Lovely atmosphere and great food. We were interrupted by staff a lot asking if all wasvok - a hit less of this would have been appreciated
